Irrelevant anomaly.Nobody who actually looks at it will agree with you. You seem to be checkmated here.

So we are all clear define your definition use of "terrain following". I am particular interested if you have any altitude limits to the definition.AA77 was terrain following.
Only an ace pilot could deal with the ground effect of AA77.
That is just VFR navigation,So we are all clear define your definition use of "terrain following". I am particular interested if you have any altitude limits to the definition.
The reason I ask is terrain following is used at times in fire recon. That is to get to the fire (example: following roads or rivers). This was done at above 3000' agl. Many pilots "terrain follow". Some VFR flights come to mind.
Now if your claiming Flight 77 did nap, what evidence do you have and the source.
terrain flight - definition of terrain flight by The Free DictionaryFlight close to the Earth's surface during which airspeed, height, and/or altitude are adapted to the contours and cover of the ground in order to avoid enemy detection and fire. Also called TERF.
Thanks for the post. I know the accepted definition, was just trying to see if HD was playing a wordsmith game or not. That is just VFR navigation,

Well.... There is the problem.Pretty much all of CIT work. The people behind the Pentagon fly-over. Many of the die hard 9/11 truthers at AE911T don't support them.
He is using his own definition. Since the plane didn't adapt its airspeed, height, and/or altitude to the contours of the ground, it merely levelled off near the ground shortly before striking the Pentagon, there was no terrain following flight. HD wants people to think there was some super duper piloting skills required to do this, that is also why he adds the bit about ground effect at high speed. It sounds more impressive to someone who knows nothing about aviation ort at least that's what HD hopes. Thanks for the post.
