Libya to Palestinians: You aren't welcome here

Ah yes...the great Pan-Arabism. Why aren't these people helping each other like the Koran says they should? Could it be that maybe the countries who claim to support the Palestinians don't actually give 2 shits about them? I know. The Great Satan is forcing Lybia to do this. Yes that must be the answer. Great Story. Goes to show just how much Arab nations actually care about their Palestinian brethren.

Bro that’s the way is been since I can remember. They use Palestine to enrage people into their belief, which by the way has nothing to with helping a single person from Palestine.

Until the Hamas are gone nothing will change.
Maybe thats why they dont want anything to do with them..??.No one there to start any chit...

Not that long ago at an Arab League conference, Saudi Arabia put forth a proposition called the 'Mecca Plan'. Under this proposal, refugee Palestinians would become bona-fide citizens of the Arab country where they reside. This Saudi proposal is intended as an alternative to the 'right of return' demand of Palestinians vis-a-vis any final settlement negotiations with Israel.

Naturally, Arab nations with few Palestinians accept the Mecca Plan while those with a sizeable Palestinian population reject it. More talks on the Mecca Plan are scheduled for the next Arab League summit later this month.

What is painfully obvious in this, is that no Arab country wants to 'permanently' absorb any Palestinians. The plan is wonderful for Arab nations without resident Palestinians, because nothing will change for them and the Pals thus remain out of sight and out of mind. The plan is considered terrible by Arab nations with a large Palestinian presence because it means a permanent citizenship status. Some Arab nations also secretly oppose the Mecca Plan for ideological reasons... as the plan would remove the political propaganda value that is derived from the refugees.

Rather than wait and see where the political cards fall, it seems that Libya has decided to preempt the Mecca Plan.
