If you've not been following the developments swirling around the formerly anonymous Twitter user @LibsofTikTok over the last week, it's worth a news search and reading about it. This woman has drawn the ire of the progressive left (and even of The Washington Post, but I repeat myself) for doing nothing more than curating social media posts of school teachers and university professors steeped in trans ideology. She shines a light on these educators own public social media posts as a way of highlighting what they advocate, both in public policy and in the classroom.

And for this she's vilified.

I am very involved in my local schools and don’t need some failed NY realtor chiming in… She wanted to be a big star with the alt-right and she got what she wanted. Despite what many in MAGA world might think, being an asshole is not that popular.


If you are relying on a Twitter account to “keep you informed” you are part of the problem. Put away your keyboard and march your ass down to the local school. They are ALWAYS looking for volunteers.

Back to the point, when the professor argues that we should not use a stigmatizing word like "pedophile" for an adult who is sexually attracted to children, why do you think he/she was making that argument? Please be specific.

Clearly you think she's wrong for highlighting these social media posts, but do you think that? Speaking to the two cites in the OP, do you think it's bad that parents who send their children to that 5th grade teacher's school know about her gender identity lesson plan? Is one an "asshole" if one argues for the stigmatization of pedophilia?
