OK, why and where did you move my post "Is a Liberal Soldier an Oxymoron"?
Guess there's no need to add a poll to this one since most here still stubbornly think the DP staff isn't biased. LOL!

Perhaps the bias is not against conservatism so much as it is against your prevalent posting style.
Just a thought.
How would go about determining the difference between the two- bias against conservatism vs bias against your posting style? Any ideas?
 
Perhaps , PTSDkid, you should consider whether your posts seem more likely to inflame or spark debate.
 
Oh, and btw, how come PTSD doesn't have one of those little star bits. The military thing.

We both know that anyone answering 'NO' would be lying through their teeth.

***Very good question. May I suggest you post that question up in the polling section of this forum. Surely the non-biased staff would let it ride without fear of it getting moved to the Dungeon.
 
You could try posting at Free Republic or Right Nation. You may find better reception.

***I am officially requesting these stars. I must say that it got difficult to get past that one star general rank. I would also like to have the smaller version of the red white and blue elephants under my avatar, but don't know where to get em. That huge elephant seems to be stomping some big time liberal butt; so I'm ready to go with a less intimidating profile.
 
From the homepage it asks folks to go to the Awards System (right above the forums) -go there and click request on the appropriate service please.

As far as the elephants:
USER CP > Group Memberships.

Join and click which group you wish to be 'identifed as'.

Well, gee, if you paid attention to things, you'd see that your thread is in the basement, and was moved there by Gunny since the thread became horribly off topic.

And the mod doesn't send the PM him/herself. The system automatically generates it and throws in the name of the mod that moved the thread. Have you checked your inbox? Is it too full? If your inbox is full, you can't get any new messages.

***Gee, forgive me for acting like a hyper-sensitive liberal in my biased sense that posting style and Conservatism are one and the same. Have you ever considered teaching me how to post on a debating forum without me presenting a bias? I know, you don't have the proper teaching credentials to help me out here. Nothing stopping you for giving it the old American try, however. Would you be so nice to answer a question for me? If its not a DP bias against my Conservatism (as you might suggest), rather a bias against my posting style, then why don't we see more of those obviously liberally biased postings against Conservatives thrown to the Sewer etc? This guy Morty or something comes to mind here. He still has a few inflaming liberally biased tirades against Conservatives that have made a home upstairs.

My suggestion to keep us all playing on a level field--is to let them run their course upstairs. Its my opinion that those showing more bias become the best debating posts.

GySgt = Gunnery Sergeant

GySgt = "Gunny"

GySgt = Guns

Any of those will do.

By the way, I made two attempts to keep the thread away from where it was headed by posting on your theme, but it was destined to be closed or sent off to the basement by the usual partisan butchery. I chose the latter.

So to answer your question- yes, I have considered trying to explain things to you. As you well know you and I have quit a few lengthy exchanges revolving around your posting.
Yet, despite the multiple lengthy posts addressing the issue I've not even been able to convey the fact that it's not about posting w/o "presenting a bias," but addressing your fellow DPers w/ a modicum of respect.

***I have no need to point out the obvious bias of the DP staff...every time they conveniently let liberally biased threads slide. Besides, I maintain that letting partisan threads stand makes for a much livelier debating format; just like to see the mods keep their hands off of 'all' the perfectly debatable threads. See, I can be non partisan when put into its proper context.
