How low can you possibly go???? Seemingly not as low as Connecticut Liberals are willing to go.

I am well known for my outright critisizm of President Bush, but the Democrats do not own me either. I think they suck too, especially after this attempt to tie Joseph Lieberman to neo-nazis and even Timothy McVeigh. Sure, they dont come right out and say it, but the implication is absolutely there.

Sure, Lieberman supports the Iraq war, and IMHO, that is wrong, but the Democrats in his state need to be honest and attack Lieberman on the war, not with these kinds of absolutely disgusting BS tactics.

I will say this right now. With these kinds of ads, they are in absolutely no moral position to attack Republican ads. This conduct by the Democratic party is absolutely reprehensible.

Article is here.

These are not liberal bloggers despite the use of that term in the article. They are authoritarian leftists/marxists/anarchists who share much more in common with Nazis than does Mr. Lieberman.

I mean -- Just look who they chose for their target?

Well as I read it, Lieberman aint exactly mr popular among democrats or the people in his home state. He is in fact on the fence so to say in the democratic primary up there as far as I have read.

I guess sucking up to Bush and his policies was not the best plan of action for him being a democrat...

Keep in mind that the very liberal raw story put this out there.

The group cited - Impeach PAC is not a liberal blog site that I have ever heard of. The article also states that no other liberal blog site endorsed the ad.

Agreed. Which political party do you think they support at the ballot box?

Basically I really like Joe. Hes a man who will stand up for what HE believes to be right even if his party doesn’t agree. I find that admirable. We need more politicians like him.
I don’t think he cares whether he is Mr. Popular or not.

As far as being on the fence……nobody sits the fence like McCain. I can’t abide him and hes from my state.

Both the Republicans and Democrats are corrupt that’s for sure. To say one is worse than the other is ridiculous.

This ad doesnt shock me in the least.

The founder of ImpeachPAC is Bob Fertig of Democrats.com. He has no relationship with the Democratic Party though other than trying to dictate which candidates they run.

He doesn't stand up for what he believes. He talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk. When it's time to vote, don't count on him to vote the way he talks -- except on Israel.

Agreed. McCain stands for nothing, and will fall for anything that he thinks will get him re-elected.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. As long as 2 major parties run the show, this will be the norm, as they continue with their divide and conquor strategies with the American people.

Congratulations, you just described about every politician up in Washington. Party 1st, hypocritical liars, thieves, & traitors who would sell their mothers, not just this country - which they are doing, for a buck!

In 2000, I would say many voted for Nader. In 2004, they may have voted for Kerry or else just not voted, but not before disrupting as many democratic boards as possible.

The democratic party is under assault from its leftist fringe which attacks any democrat that does not march in lock step with their rigid ideology. They don't see politics as the art of compromise, but instead set up endless purity tests where unless a candidate is the second coming of che guevara, they will rant and rave and throw as many tantrums as possible.

Huh? There is NO viable far left in America. What you consider "leftist fringe" would pass as moderate in Europe.

What rigid ideology? What items? If anything, the reverse is true. Dem groups have the problem of NOT putting aside their single issue - environment, abortion, clean elections etc. for the greater good.

Anyway latest poll for Lamont.

August 3, 2006 - Lamont Leads Lieberman 54 - 41 In Dem Primary, Quinnipiac University Connecticut Poll Finds; Malloy Gains Some Ground In Governor's Primary

Momentum for Ned Lamont, the anti-war Connecticut U.S. Senate candidate, increases as he rolls to a 54 - 41 percent lead over incumbent Sen. Joseph Lieberman among likely Democratic primary voters, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

What planet have you been living on?? If you want to see examples of the far left and their rigid ideology, visit DailyKos and DemocraticUnderground a few times. These two are not the only two, but they are the largest. There are thousands of far left web sites/blogs that preach the same philosophy.

If there were no viable far left in America, then ANSWER would not be so successful, nor would you see all the raging antisemitism at left leaning boards. Go to Daily Kos, Democratic underground or CommongroundCommonsense (which sprung from the ashes of the Kerry board), and you will see the places dominated by screeching leftist idealogues. Heck, at the Kerry forum, where terrorists were referred to as "freedom fighters" and the head administrator ordered the moderators to favor antisemitic points of view, the place was filled with antisemitic rantings right out of the elders of Zion.

1) The Elders of Zion is a myth. The book of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was originally titled "The Protocols of the Illuminati", and whether that group even exists at all is purely speculation out of conspiracy theory. An antisemite changed the title of the book to "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" in order to cause more people to hate Jews.

2) I agree with you that there are extremists in the Democratic Party, but there are extremists everywhere. You need look no farther than Bush's own cabinet, whose members were called the "crazies in the basement" by none other than Bush's father, when he was Vice President under Reagan.
