So I am watching The Daily Show last night, and like so many times, Jon Stewart starts doing a bit about a subject I have been bothered by as well. It's funny, not funny Ha, Ha, but funny as in peculiar, but why do I have to go to The Daily Show to actually see something the so-called Liberal media should be doing-----I mean, if they were so Liberal. I could be wrong, and Lord knows I have been wrong before, but it seems that the only time a certain portion of the populace believes the Media, is when they are reporting how Liberal they are.
I realize Stewart is a Comedian, but sometimes he is so dead on, he gives hope to those who see things in a slightly different paradigm. Anyway, Stewart brings up the the Rumsfeld "Heckler", because if you question the Administration, you are a "Heckler". Then he goes on to explain that instead of concentrating on the question, and Rumsfeld's previous answers on Meet the Press, the Media concentrated on McGovern's Left-Wing Radical Leanings. They then go into a series of quick video clips of interviews with all the TV Talking Heads, and it's all about his positions, his nut-ball stances, the typical, and what has become a very common tactic, that seems to be used when anyone with any significant credentials questions the Administration's motives----Attack the Messenger.
Are there Liberals in the Media? Yes, and they are truly a very poorly represented bunch. I am more concerned with the Business Guys who control the message from upstairs. I know this, with the skeletons in my closet, if they wanted too, they could make me look pathetic too. And I bet that goes for about three quarters of us here as well.
