If you type in the words "O'Reilly" and "shut up" into Lexis Nexis and run a search of all Fox News Trascripts in existence, over 200 entries show up. If you sift through them, there are 5 cases where he actually told someone to shut up.
Yet, to hear the Left tell it, this is his trademark. They dishonestly smear this guy CONSTANTLY. And the little sheep come on here DAILY to start new threads perpetuating the BS.
My favorite was the one where he said Mexico's unemployment rate was 20%, and he meant to say the POVERTY RATE was 20%. Liberals crucified him, ommitting that part about the poverty rate to make it look like he just fabricates things.
HINT for you honesty-challenged lefties: You only have to pathologically lie about your opponents if you know you can't win the debate on merit.
The media, of course, runs with the lies like every other liberal robot:
CNN:
"Mr. Dobbs's weave of sanctimony and indignation flattens guests with opposing viewpoints -- he hasn't ventured to adopt Bill O'Reilly's trademark ''shut up'' yet."
Chicago Sun Times:
"Or, as you so eloquently put it to guests on your show who get the better of you, shut up."
NPR:
"...analyzes O'Reilly's creative use of the command "shut up" on his TV show..."
