I love ALCOHOL! despite the fact i'm 16. Once a year ago I was a functioning alcoholic, and let me tell you, makes school a lot more interesting

Personally some of my favourite drinks include on the harder side La Fee Absynthe, Jack Daniels Whiskey, Zambuca, bit of Vodka here and there.

On the lighter side some wines are good, but beer, mmmmmmmm Like some Molson Canadian, Castle Lager, Kronenburg 1664, Stella Artois, Carling Black label. mmmmmmm

I know its wrong and bad for a kid my age to have been drinking what I was drinking. But hey i'm still alive and clean as such.

So what drinks do you like an stuff, lets discuss

I use to drink tequila and jim beam. (not together).
But after living inside a bottle for several years I just drink pepsi, coffee, milk and water now..

Dried out in the early 90's and never went back.
In time it will kill you. I've lost alot for friends because of it.

To avoid hang overs drink a glass of water between drinks.Dehydration is the number one cause of hangover. Alcohol is a diuretic, ie a drug that increases urination and flushes fluids from the body.

As for my favorite drinks I really like some of the microbrew beers, there was the resturaunt at camp casey in Korea that had this crystal wheat flavored beer, that **** was good.

There is also hurricanes which you need a really big container to mix it all in,two litters of light(or it could be dark rum, about a litter of 151 rum,a small bottle of grenadine, a small bottle of tripple sec two quart size cans or pineapple juice.

SOme of the alcoholic drinks I like were

Southern Comfort which has a slighty sweet fruity taste comes 70 proof and higher great mixed or striaght it still taste great.
Jack Danials also comes in 70 proof or above I prefere it to be mixed.
Crown Royal a smooth whiskey comes in 80 proof I prefere to drink it straight.
Avalanche which is a peppermint schnapps that has edible sugar crystals on the botton of the bottle and the more sugar crystals on the bottom the higher the proof of the schnapps.
After Shock Cinnamon flavored schnapps has the same characteristics as Avalanche.
Jose Cuervo 1800 kind of a strong flavored tequila.
Two fingers tequila not as strong as jose Cuervo 1800 but it is still good.
Redrum a fruit flavored rum.
BACARDI light as dark rums and BACARDI 151 goes great with pepsi.
Everclear grain alcohol which is 190 proof, you would have to be insane to drink this stuff straight, everclear is a brand not a actual liquor so just asking for every clear may get vodka or Purple Passion(look like a two liter of grape soda with the everclear logo on it.

IF you are a cheapskate drunk get a beer bong, consuming alcoholic beverages faster means less beers to get drunk.

Is used to drink but I don't anymore. You should proably avoid drinking until you are much older, wait until you at least complete school first.

I don't think its necessarily wrong or bad for a 16 year old to like to drink, as long as you keep it under control. I think its better to learn your limits with alcohol at a relatively younger age so that you dont go off to college and die from alcohol poisoning cause you're a rookie, as happens so frequently here. Of course, dont let it screw with your schoolwork and the such...

But yea- Its good that you enjoy beers and wines in addition to hard liquor, because most of the kids who i know who become problem drinkers get that way because they cant stand beer, and just drink hard liquor, getting way drunker than they mean to. The lowbrow frat guy who goes out and drinks 8 Keystone Lights is going to be much better off than the highbrow girl who goes out and drinks 8 vodkatinis. Its infinitely harder to get really sick off of just beer than off liquor or a mix of the two. And second the drink lots of water thing for hangovers....it really does save your life.

Anyways...absinthe is some good ****, only if its legit stuff with the real deal in it though. I hate Jack, and most whiskeys/bourbons. Dark liquors just give me shitty hangovers. I hate cuervo, and will only drink patron silver if forced to drink tequila, its at least bearable.

I'm much partial to beer myself, some of my favorites are Saranac, Fransiskaner Hefenweisen, McSorleys, Magic Hat, Red Stripe. Of course, when you're down on dough, St. Ide's High Gravity and Colt 45 are the 40 oz beverage of choice. Molsen XXX isn't half bad either, you Canadians know how to make some good *** beer...:2wave:

I'm not passing judgment, but how are you able to be drunk at school and your teachers and/or your parents not know something is up? I certainly drank when I was 16, but calling yourself a functioning alcoholic at 16 years old is a little worrisome to me.

lol no no no I was an alcoholic from when I was 14 and a half to 15 and a half roundbouts.

And ah, I dont know, I got pretty smashed at school, and i'm able to act completely normal despite the fact i'm drunk, pretty weird I know.

Kronenburg's a decent pint, Black Label's just Carling now, pound a pint in our union.;) Stella remains the bar by which drinking is judged, its not callled wife beater for nothing. I don't drink regularly anymore, lost all interest in it before even getting through college (UK college, 17-18 years old, not US college). I tend to pace myself nowadays, I prefer watching others get ruined while keeping my head.

Don't laugh kids, this is the mark of a professional. I tend to sneak a bottled water when it's my round, spend a minute extra at the bar and watch everyone else dropping under the table.

Ha Ha. The US exchange students we've had this year spring straight to mind. One turned legal before arriving, the other had her 21st here, Double Vodkas with Lemonade every time. Couldn't print the s*** I've heard about them.

Jack Daniel's and Ezra Brooks, everything else is bottled urine as far as I'm concerned.

You'll probably be an alcoholic when you grow up too.
If you have already succumbed to alchool before you are even finished growing, and you currently 'love it', say hello to a high possibility of alcoholism when life actually begins to get diffficult.

Being an alcoholic is not something to be proud of, and it's not 'cool.'
Check yourself before it's too late!

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son...

You have a life threatening disease Apollo. Boasting and making light of it only goes to show the ill effects alcohol takes on the sense of judgement.

My heart crys out for you and your parents. If you were my child my heart would be breaking. I know your folks will probably feel the same.

I hope it's not too late for you. Best o' luck.

Please my friends, blowing such a thing way out of proportion. I'm a good man who's completely sensible, and has good judgement. I swear it you need not worry or let your heart cry out for me. I love a good piss up but the thrill of being an alcoholic has come and gone. Alcohol is no longer my be all and end all as it once was.

Don’t take it the wrong way bud.
I think the members are just telling you in their own way how drinking has affected them or their families. Remember your still young most of these guys are much older...

I think the last time I had the drug was long ago...

Martinis are good party drinks.

I like the classic rum and coke. Also been drinking alot of jager bombs lately. Can't stand beer but I never seem to be able to turn a cold one down. ;)
