let obama care fail

first of all you are not suppose to let the gov not be able to pay its bills because of a law you do not like ...
The shutdown is not simply about an unpopular law, but rather its consequences to the future of this nation_

Obama has already stated that he intends to fundamentally change the United States, which many of his supporters don't fully understand what he's actually talking about nor the ramifications of what those changes will bring_

Apparently you are one of those supporters, otherwise you would understand exactly why there is such strong opposition from loyal Americans who don't wish to see the American Dream replaced with a Socialist Utopian pipe-Dream_

This meaningless little government shutdown is nothing compared to the suffering which lies ahead should Obama succeed_

also if this law is so bad let it run and fail until the 2014 elections.. if obamacare is so bad repubs,, let it work for you.....only confederates, tea party and people that want to break away from this country would shut down this government.. we know who you are....
The consequences of Obamacare will not be realized for several years and even then be under-reported by main stream media_

The Tea Party which is feared and hated so much by the Progressives are simply people who are aware of those consequences_

oh hhh another thing ,,,,quit telling women what to do with their bodies after all you dont want anyone telling you what to do with your guns,,,,mainly who you sell them too...
Totally inconsequential to the subject of this discussion__Stick to the issue!

excuse me boss....we are already paying for other people not having health care ...why do you think our premiums are so high

And we should make them even higher to pay for people who can't afford healthcare?

I've been saying for the last six months that if Obamacare doesn't get repealed, and if it doesn't cause a horrific recession and the disentigration of our health care system, that it will be the end of Republican hopes to keep control of the House, or to take control of the Senate or POTUS for many years to come.

THATS the reason that republicans are fighting to stop Obamacare so bad. They don't actually think that Obamacare is going to ruin anything, and they realize that the American public is going to loose faith in republicans because their "the sky is falling because of Obamacare" rhetoric. If they can stop Obamacare, then they can argue that they "saved the world from disaster", if they can't, they look like idiots.

DISCLAIMER: I do not and never will be an Obamacare supporter and I have not voted for Obama, or any democrat in the past 20 years. I'm just calling 'em the way I see 'em.
And I am not a Republican yet I'm forced to vote for them as the best hope of defeating far-left Progressive extremist_

Rather than a policy of fear-voting, I would much prefer to be supporting small government Libertarian candidates_

If Obamacare succeeds and people are happy with it, Republicans will begin calling it The Affordable Care Act.

Obama has already stated that he intends to fundamentally change the United States

Can you please cite the source of where Obama stated "I intend to fundamentally change the United States?"

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

It like you don't understand what "fundamentally transforming" means, or what the moron meant by it.

Obama is basically describing his vision of the perfect Socialist Utopian Dream

Sorry Excon; I didn't see yours until after I posted mine_

I would be very happy to see it do what it advertised, improve healthcare, reduce costs. I just don't see it working out to well.

The key word is "fundamentally"_ fundamental - Wiktionary

Etymology[edit]
From Late Latin fundamentalis, from Latin fundamentum (“foundation”), from fundare (“to lay the foundation (of something), to found”), from fundus (“bottom”)

Noun[edit]
fundamental (plural fundamentals)
1.A leading or primary principle, rule, law, or article, which serves as the groundwork of a system; essential part, as, the fundamentals of linear algebra.

Translations[edit]
[show ▼]a leading or primary principle, rule, law, or article

Adjective[edit]
fundamental (comparative more fundamental, superlative most fundamental)
1.Pertaining to the foundation or basis; serving for the foundation. Hence: Essential, as an element, principle, or law; important; original; elementary; as, a fundamental truth; a fundamental axiom.

Obamacare is so badly broken it would take decades to fix, especially considering the political gridlock of the DemoPublicans_

The only solution is to totally scrap this very bad law and rewrite it from scratch using better qualified and more realistic people_
