That's a damned poor excuse for collectivist violence. Most of the intolerant dim bulbs who do this sort of thing would have fit right in on the streets of Munich circa 1920. It is the height of irony that so many of these totalitarian types identify themselves as "liberals." They are the very opposite of true liberals--nasty little authoritarians who have contempt for this country and the individual liberties its constitution guarantees.
 
I think the public is being fed these kind of events to soften them up for the imposition of near martial law as both the Democratic and Republican Conventions draw near.

Both convention sites will become "Gated Communities".

The anger upon the streets is huge and simmering.

I'm not necessarily extolling those liberals and I can assure you that I have plenty of contempt for such louts on the left. I'm only admitting the reality that the kind of campaign Trump ran so far and the platform he chose to disseminate can only lead to such an outcome. You can dismiss Trump's opposition and I'll be sympathetic to your cause, something that truly reveals the abject sociopolitical reality of this country, but to deny Trump's fascist tendencies is either denialism or ineptitude.

The term "fascist" is seldom used these days to refer to the political philosophy espoused by Benito Mussolini and others in the early 1900's. Most often, it is nothing but a mindless insult that collectivist dim bulbs hurl at anyone who dares express a political view that make them feel pouty. I have no idea whether Mr. Trump agrees with Mussolini. From what I have seen, I conclude he is more like Archie Bunker with a lot of money. The collectivist lumps who direct violence at him show what fools they are, because they are helping his cause.
