Well, if it’s hidden how do you know that it exists at all?
This underscores the problem. You proceed from the stance that there was fraud and grasp for proof to confirm your bias.
That isn’t how scientists test a hypothesis. They precede from neutrality and let the evidence decide whether the hypothesis is true or not.
Another problem with your reasoning is that no amount of contrary evidence will persuade you to accept the conclusion that there was no fraud.
