Yeah, this is just a typical case of people going after a party with the deepest pockets rather than the person responsible.

Their autopilot system is a wonky POS. They are an easy target there.
 
All the more reason why the person sitting in the driver seat should have done something other than let it happen.
They built it and pushed the government to allow its use. It's on them as much as the person driving.
They should either pay up or recall every last one of these vehicles.
