Lawmakers went home last week without passing a Covid aid package. And since they went home, more than 500 Americans have died from this virus.

No domestic funding, no global funding. Nada.

And since they went home, more than 500 Americans have died from this virus.

Congress' failure to act denies a basic fact: Covid isn't over -- and it won't be until we get people around the world vaccinated.

Supporter Nicholas N., who lives in Wyoming, spoke for all of us when he wrote in and said: "We share everyone's frustration with COVID. We are equally frustrated by lawmakers who pretend nothing is amiss."

Maybe lawmakers feel like they can punt on Covid relief because case numbers are on the low side. But those numbers are misleading.

Now that over-the-counter testing kits are readily available, people test positive at home without public health departments ever knowing about it. Those cases never show up in the numbers.

Covid is still infecting, hospitalizing, and killing people all over the world -- and when lawmakers get back to the Hill, they need to know what their top priority should be.

Would some multi-Trillion dollar "aid package" have saved those 500 people's lives?

I'd bet the deaths are falling in numbers and the most serious cases are older people and those who have diabetes, are obese, and have other previous respiratory illnesses.

Their top priority is radicalizing toddlers and preparing them for a sex-change that mommy doesn't know about.

Damn lawmakers.

If only they'd have passed a spending bill those 500 people would not have died and Covid would be over.

Instead, OTC home testing kits are preventing public health departments from knowing who has Covid.

Is it really this easy to be a lefty - nothing you say needs to make any sense whatsoever; but seasoned with a little bit of disjointed emotionalism and you have yourself an unassailable argument no one dares refute?

You don't get it.

Money makes the world go round.

Unless a cure for covid19 was included, what makes you think some government package would have prevented any of those 500 people from dying?

The bipartisan senators had reached a 10B dollar agreement, but that wasn't enough for Biden's WH who demanded the supplemental covid package be increased to 22B. IF you want to blame people, blame the guy you voted for.

I imagine most of the people dying are anti- vaccine. That’s fine, their body their choice and my hard earned tax dollars should not pay for their bad decisions.

“Most”, “that’s fine”

“Bad decisions” won’t pay.

My body my choice, even at 5 yrs old. Except for the jab.

Doesn’t this all seem a bit “not right”?
Doesn’t make much sense does it?

Where did the virus come from?

Do we all have the ability to apply “The hands of God” feature on our app or on our computer games?

The world is doing burnouts without getting anywhere. Is this really how we want to roll?

Social media distorts reality for those not willing to open their eyes/minds. Don’t let them put you in a box in your mind telling you that what they tell you is exactly what you need/want to hear.

We are is this together. Never forget that. It’s us against them, not you against me.
