Everyone knows the DHS is operating illegally. Well, now we see that a judge removed the unlawful head of BLM (no, not that BLM).

He will hire the best people!!!

If you voted for Obama that would be a lie, he was the crappiest hire in US history.

nice attempt at deflection. Obama def was not the best President but the current one has set us back in every way possible. Sucks

You know the ruling will be appealed, don't you?!?
Of course it will be appealed, and they will win. Presidents are allowed to make appointments without Senate confirmation if the Senate is in recess. The unconfirmed appointment may remain in that position for the duration of the Session of Congress, before they must either be confirmed by the Senate or vacate the seat. The 116th Session of Congress started January 3, 2019 and will not end until January 3, 2021. When William Pendley was appointed director in August 2019 the Senate was in recess.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 3 of the US Constitution:
The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.

This means that William Pendley may constitutionally hold the position until January 3, 2021. If he is not confirmed by the Senate before that date, then he must give up that position.

Because he was black, right?
Because by every objective measure he was the worst president in 40 years.

You assuming deserved criticism is about race is a form of racism as disgusting as White Supremacy. Stop being racist!

The last 21 months of the Obama Economy V. The first 21 months of the Trump Economy.

Writing is the Wall Street Journal, Former CEO Andy Puzder claims that Trump’s economy easily wins over Obama when you look at the numbers.

Obama’s last six full quarters in office GDP growth averaged 1.5%. Trumps first full six quarters in office GDP growth averaged 3%.

Obama’s last 21 months in office, job openings increased an average of 900 a month. Trump’s first 21 months in office, job openings increased an average of 75,000 a month.

Obama’s last 21 months in office, the number of Americans employed increased an average of 157,000 a month. Trumps’ First 21 months in office, the number of Americans employed increased an average of 214,000 a month.

Obama’s last 21 months in office, weekly earnings rose an average of $1.31. Trumps first 21 months average weekly earnings rose an average of $1.84 before tax cuts, after tax cuts the weekly average increase rose to $2.31.

Obama’s last 21 months in office, unemployment declined 13% from what it was at the beginning of that time period. Trump’s first 21 months in office, unemployment declined 23% from what it was at the beginning of that time period.

(First quarter of 2017 was not counted in GDP stats because both Presidents shared it. The time period is 21 months because although elected a smidge over 2 years ago Trump has been in office a smidge over 21 months.)

Nah, it's about race. Obama is black. Ergo, white racists hated him and say he was the worst president in 40 years. Deny it all you want, No one is buying.

Trump screwed-up the pandemic response, and crashed the economy & employment, to say nothing of our lives & our childrens' educations. You're dreaming here, and not dealing with reality. Trump's 'first 21 months' are long gone, my friend. Look out the window ...

Those are the BS talking points, but they are so badly disproven that you should be embarrassed and ashamed for mentioning them.

By the way every place Democrats are not in charge there is relative peace and prosperity.

Nah, it's about race. Obama is black. Ergo, white racists hated him and say he was the worst president in 40 years. Deny it all you want, No one is buying.

Several decades ago, Leftist Democrats realized White Supremacy was becoming unpopular and no longer a winning political strategy. They did not give up on racism they just slowly started exploiting it from the opposite direction. Trading “White Supremacy” for “Identity Politics”, the KKK for Race Baiters and Groups like BLM.

clamaity,,,,Race Baiters like you are not the answer to the Klan, you replaced the Klan.

Racists love to pretend there is no racism. It's ironic, no?

Agreed. I'm certainly not buying their phony bill of goods. Obama was a far better President than Trump could ever be. And I don't recall former President Obama ever stating "get rid of the ballots" as a WH action.

Someone didn't read the article...

Because by every objective measure he was the worst president in 40 years.

 Which is nothing more than your opinion, no doubt based on his race. I've dismissed such opinions, including the above, as ignorant.

Every Objective measure?

Would you be so kind to explain what measures that may be? Because based on these 10 guidelines that are used by Presidential Scholars

1) Public Persuasion
2) Crisis Leadership
3) Economic Management
4) Moral Authority
5) International Relations
6 Administrative Skills
7) Relations with Congress
8) Vision of the Future
9) Pursued Equal Justice
10) Performance Within the Context of His Times

Obama has been placed as the 12th best president ever.

So pray tell us what guidelines you followed.

Someone didn't read the article...
You are mistaken, I did read the CNN article and they got it wrong - as usual.

The Senate was only in session for the first two days in August 2019. Pendley was appointed deputy director of the Bureau of Land Management on July 29, 2019 - which did not require Senate confirmation. The Senate then recessed August 2, 2019 and would not come back into session until September after Labor Day. Meanwhile Pendley was appointed Acting Director of the BLM on August 15, 2019, while the Senate was in recess. If the Senate had been in session, then Pendley would have required Senate approval before taking the position. However, the Senate was not in session when the appointment was made.

Because it was a recess appointment Pendley can constitutionally hold the position until the end of the session (January 3, 2021). If he is not confirmed by the Senate before the end of the Session he must vacate the position.

lol...I am sure you got it wrong. CNN uses people who know what they are talking about. Lord knows, some internet pundit on an anonymous forum likely does not.
