As the hit piece by far left “magazine”, The Atlantic, regarding comments Trump never actually said about the military, continues to make the rounds, it’s since been revealed that Laurene Powell Jobs, heir to Steve Jobs’s fortune, is a majority owner in The Atlantic and also a huge donor to democrat candidates, including Biden.
But that only explains part of the possible reason for the fake news article.
The widowed Jobs also retains huge amounts of stock in Apple and Disney, both of which are dependent on national policies that appease China. Trump’s tough-on-China policies are cutting into the elitist billionaries’ fortunes, Mrs. Jobs included.
Laurene Powell Jobs's Ties to China May Be Behind Insidious Trump Hit Piece In The Atlantic
In short, as majority owner of the Atlantic she has the means, the motive of protecting her Chinese operations, and opportunity as an outsized role in influencing the Atlantic’s timing of an anonymously sourced hit piece.
She is guilty of making up the story based on the painstaking sourcing by the author.
I have few pleasures in life, but one of them is immediately tearing up subscription offers from that magazine, which is taken way too seriously by people who should know better.
The American and the Chinese media do have one thing in common: They follow the party line.
Wow! When nominal President Biden and de facto President Harris take over in three months, the Atlantic will be full of praise for China.
When Trumpsters have to resort to quoting “analysis” from Rasmussen, you know they know that the end is in sight.
As opposed to TDS sufferers treating the Atlantic story as fact based on unnamed sources?
The reporter stands by the story.
Trump’s open disparagement of military officials is well documented, as is his usual lack of respect.
No once doubts the story. It fits the pattern.
You know it as well as I do.
Rasmussen IS grabbing at straws. Trump’s disdain for actual military service is well documented, and goes back three generations. Donald was not the Trump family’s first draft dodger.
