After last years superbowl, many many people contacted the FCC (I being one of them) to let them know exactly what they thought of Janet Jacksons "accident". Talk radio was going crazy with flooded calls and emails. It became the subject of the evening news for a couple of weeks.
This lead to a rekindling of the moral code in the FCC. "Shock Jock" Howerd Stern was fined and warned about his subject matter in morning radio. Several radio personalities were warned; some were even fired. Because of this beakon, Stern will be going to satillight radio next year.
Could this have been the first spark of the "moral" America that eventually lead to Bush's re-election?
