righties love flappin' their filthy gums about all the gun violence in big cities "run by Dems".

Here's another example of how rotten, lax red states facilitate that violence in big cities like Philly...

... For months, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives had been building a case against Norman, Walker and two other suspects. The agents ultimately traced nearly 300 firearms purchased in Georgia from dozens of gun retailers to the suspects after some were found at crime scenes and in the possession of convicted felons in Philadelphia, according to records and interviews with federal law enforcement. ...

“I never knew how open guns was in Georgia,” Norman said. “The whole process threw me off. You walk in, and then there’s a police officer sitting at the front. And they don’t check for, you know, ID or carry licenses or if you’re a felon or nothing.” ...

Officials said the ring ran a classic straw-purchasing scheme, in which someone buys a gun for someone else who typically can’t legally buy one or doesn’t want to leave a paper trail. Between June and December 2020, the Georgia defendants allegedly bought guns almost daily at stores like Academy Sports, Adventure Outdoors and a string of pawn shops, then trafficked them to Pennsylvania, according to the 60-page indictment unsealed last month. ...

Hopefully all the human garbage involved in the scheme gets convicted and locked in cages for as long as possible (but still not nearly long enough, no doubt).

Chicago has the same problem ... guns purchased in that filthy red state next door (indiana), then turning up at crime scenes in the city...

trolling post. the politics of those involved is not specified. I find it bullshit to claim that licensed dealers with police officers in them are not complying with the Federal laws. And BTW, straw purchases are used where there are such checks

Yeah, that part was odd. Never heard of a legally operating FFL who didn’t perform background checks.

Nothing will change. We'll still have around the same number of firearm homicides and mass shootings as we currently have.

Probably around 30 days until the next high profile mass shooting.

Good I hope all involved are prosecuted to the fullest

On a side note I don’t know I have ever been added to show ID or undergo a background check to simply enter a gun shop

Atlanta rapper accused of trafficking guns to crime plagued Philadelphia in straw purchasing scheme

https://1010wcsi.com/fox-news/atlan...gued-philadelphia-in-straw-purchasing-scheme/

An Atlanta rapper is accused of running a straw purchasing scheme in which federal prosecutors say he and at least ten other defendants helped traffic nearly 300 guns from Georgia to Pennsylvania.

Fredrick Norman –known as “Slowkey Fred”
– is accused of running the ring that’s purchased hundreds of firearms from federally licensed firearm dealers across Georgia since 2020. The group then conspired to sell them without a license and transport them across state lines to Philadelphia, where federal authorities say the guns started showing up at crime scenes or in the possession of convicted felons.

In Illinois, you'll show a FOID (background check required to obtain) to examine a gun once you're in there.

Literally nothing about this case appears to have anything to do with the laws in "lax red states."

So the reason why Chicago is such a shit hole is not the murderers and thugs but people that aren't even related to them in other states?

That's some interesting mental gymnastics.

Why is there such a demand in Chicago for weapons to kill people but not in Indiana?

So a filthy blue state democrat enters my store and legally purchases a firearm with the illegal but unknown intent to sell it to another blue state Democrat on the street and that's a red state problem?

What someone does with the gun once they fill out the paperwork, wait the cooling off days, and finally take possession of the firearm, is simply not predictable given I still don't possess the ability to freaking read your pathetic filthy liberal minds.

If the gun shops knowingly participated they should be punished.

Funny how for this you seek life in prison but for all the violent crime you are marshmallow soft. Pathetic.

So it was straw purchasing. Dealing without a license for selling those guns. Judging by the names all look like democrats lol.

False info to a dealer is lying to the gun dealer lol.

What a joke of a thread. Nothing but democrats buying guns for other democrats.

LOL … HIGHLY amusing watching resident pathetic gun-humpers (predictably) flail

How the hell was this "slowkey" PUNK able to purchase 146 GUNS (and it looks like THOUSANDS of rounds of ammunition) in that filthy, rotten, southern red SHITHOLE known as georgia between MAY AND NOVEMBER OF 2020???

In a SANE country (or state) all kinds of red flags would've been flyin' up around the little punk.

Pure f***in' INSANITY...
