Sending someone back to their country without proper legal proceedings and the opportunity to explain their situation violates their due process rights. Due process and the right to seek asylum should be the main consideration, especially when deporting someone back to a country where they may face harm, and even death.

The cost and impact of mass deportations on families and communities, will absolutely be significant, and detrimental to our economy.

5 year old truths that will keep being used as long as you don't learn them. If you apply your logic today to January 6th then you would differentiate between the violent rioters that day and the peaceful protestors... but you don't.

You would oppose calling in the National Guard to quell the "mostly peaceful" protest on January 6th... but you wanted them there sooner.

Also it's hilarious that anyone on your side would fault someone for bringing up January 6th after 5 years. Such hypocrisy.

I am consistent across both events. In both cases the National Guard is warranted to keep the peace, curfews are warranted when the protestors refuse to step back and let law enforcement re-establish the peace..
