And yes I laughed at that picture. But you know what? Those teenagers were far from innocent. They were throwing rocks the size of baseballs at a smaller group of national guardsmen with no more than 2 months training. A rock is a deadly weapon. If you walked up to a police officer that didn't have a taser and started throwing rocks at his head he would probably shoot you.

Add to the fact that there were multiple reports of shots being fired before the students were shot and the innocence of the students is thrown into more doubt.

Then there were the statements that two of them were "on their way to class" when they were shot. Who the hell is stupid enough to go walking through clouds of teargas in the middle of a riot just to get to their english class?

Some stupid potheads got shot while setting fire to buildings and attacking soldiers with deadly force. GOOD.
