Question for TOT and NAVY PRIDE
Is he also a traitor?

AHA!

And another prominent American agrees with me in that they too believe the war in Iraq is unwinable!

"Victory is not possible" says Henry Kissinger, Kissinger warned against a "rapid withdrawal of troops". Beautiful ! And the topper is that Kissinger says the U.S. gov't must enter dialogue with Iran and it's regional neighbors!

Am I good, or what RightOfCenter?

Where are you RightOfCenter?

Did you even read what he actually said? He said that if we leave to early military victory won't be achieved, he also said pulling out would be a disaster:

"If you mean by 'military victory' an Iraqi government that can be established and whose writ runs across the whole country, that gets the civil war under control and sectarian violence under control in a time period that the political processes of the democracies will support, I don't believe that is possible."

"A dramatic collapse of Iraq _ whatever we think about how the situation was created _ would have disastrous consequences for which we would pay for many years and which would bring us back, one way or another, into the region."

"I think we have to redefine the course, but I don't think that the alternative is between military victory, as defined previously, or total withdrawal."

The post is really good at reading something out of nothing, it sounds to me he was saying that we need to support the Iraqi government so they can achieve a political solution, IE it can't be a military victory alone but must include a political strategy.

(I don't think he agrees with you, necessarily, Kid. I doubt he knows who you are)

Very droll Current Affairs.
