Kinzinger: My 'biggest regret' was voting against first Trump impeachment

To be fair, what was impeachable about that was not withholding the aid (though I think most of us agree now it shouldn't have been withheld, and that, in fact, we should have started providing lethal aid under Obama, when Russia first invaded and seized Crimea), it was the attempt to use his foreign policy powers as President to target domestic political opposition.

But good on Kinzingner. The path out of the damage that Trump did is gonna take a couple of years, but, future Republicans will place themselves largely with him, v toads like Green, Cawthorn, Boebert, and the like.

It was extortion. One thing doesn't happen without the other.

Not impressed. He did it. His regret doesn't admit why he did it.
