Last week, Wife scored Champaign Tickets on a Beer Budget for tonight’s Keith Urban concert! Higher Power stuff!

Open act Rocked! Ingrid Andress from Colorado. Knew almost nothing about her before tonight.

Getting ready for Keith!

High gas prices might lead to less traffic. 1000s of fans came rain or shine.

Keith let’s audience members step in to play drums.

The “Kenny” Experiment.

Hats off to the Live Nation Staff that handles the logistics.

About 30 minutes in, Keith came out with a song from his newest album. Lots of mesmerized fans.

What row are you in?

Keith and his band’s style stretches country into the George Benson jazz genre. Really enjoyable sound!
What row are you in?
Row J, section 4. Maybe 75 to 100 feet from stage, under canopy.

Keith just took a stroll mid-song,strumming guitar, singing, deep into the audience, like 200 yards deep, giving the nosebleed section a close up and personal experience.

Singing “You’ll Think of Me”

Audience singing!

Keith asks audience to light up pavilion in a show of unity.

Leads audience in another sing-along…

Love somebody like you

Keith, about as tall as Tom Cruise, stands on a Riser to increase visibility.

I am not a fan of country, but from what I have seen of him, he is pretty damn good musician.
