Kamala Harris Declares Candidacy, Evoking King and Joining Diverse Field

Pick a policy that is "Far Left" of hers. Then google up a poll on it. It will result in her policy being closer to the center than the GOP more often than not.

You mean like abolish ICE?

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) has joined fellow Democrats in calling for Congress to “critically re-examine” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and perhaps even “start from scratch” in overhauling the agency.
“I think there's no question that we've got to critically reexamine ICE and its role and the way that it is being administered and the work it is doing,” Harris told MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt.
“And we need to probably think about starting from scratch. There is a lot that is wrong with the way that it is conducting itself and we need to deal with that.”

Yes. Abolishing ICE is not mainstream. Then again, your clip doesn't say she was for abolishing ICE. Got any others?

She is calling for the abolishing of ICE and coming up with something else. Dance around it all you want.

And we need to probably think about starting from scratch.

ICE=Goon Squad

Well you just run on abolishing ICE and see how that works out for you. Most of your Democrat representatives, like Harris, are in your corner already.

ICE was created just 16 years ago. They have far exceeded their authority and mandate..They need to be revamped and overhauled....Of course all the angry bigoted trump ass kissers want them to remain as is......Not going to happen

That is not abolishing. That is rebuilding. Abolishing would be to kill it and not replace it.

Abolishing ICE and replacing it with the Left's Code Pink version is essentially abolishing it.

Now resorting to complete fabrications I see. Strange way to concede that you were wrong but... to each their own I suppose.

She was a prosecutor before becoming CA Senator, she's nobody to be messed with. Trump has met his match.

If Trump is not still in it, do you teally think Pence will become the nominee? I certainly don't.

Do you mean a repub primarying Trump? If so.... it will be KASICH. He's going to primary the Prez if he isn't booted. You watch. It will be Kasich, he's itching for the presidency. I say that after watching him on Bill Maher the other day.

I'm thinking Jeff Flake. I think that's why he dropped out of the Senate, to run a primary against Trump.

Democrats having a big field is good. We need people who won't see 80 for at least 10 years. Enough of the gerontocracy.

Sent from Trump Plaza's basement using Putin's MacBook.

"Old age and treachery shall overcome youth and enthusiasm."

I do agree, though, that someone in his or her 50s, instead of 70s, would probably be better for the country, depending upon how much experience they have within government. I'm really tired of amateurs, and Harris, IMHO, is another amateur.

The only D that gets any interest from me thus far is Amy Klobuchar (if she gets in). Don't think she stands a chance though.

I like Klobuchar, but most voters seem to want someone exciting, and she is not that. It's why I like her. Smart, capable, strong work ethic, and boring ... that works for me. I'm getting too damned old for all this excitement. I want a lot of nice, slow news days!

:coffeepap

I'm from California. I voted for her; I now regret that.

She promised she would be a Senator who, like Barbara Boxer, would work for Californians for the long haul. Instead, she was putting together presidential exploratory committees before she'd found the nearest restroom to her senate office.

So Californians have had a Senator for two years whose focus was on herself and her blind ambitions, not the concerns of the voters who put her there; that focus will obviously continue for the next two years, so Californians will, one way or the other, have been deprived a real representation by Senator Harris throughout her entire "term". The only way she'll ever get a vote from me again is if hers in the only name on the ballot running against Trump in Nov. 2020.

If she doesn't win the Democratic nomination, good luck on having a second bite of that Senatorial apple running for reelection in 2022. Fool us once, shame on you; fool us twice, shame on us.

I miss Boxer. She was a good Senator. (I'm a native Californian, moved to Colorado recently.)

Amy Klobuchar is also my top choice at the moment; if she got it and took Cory Booker as veep, I think that ticket would win in a landslide.

I don't like Booker. There's a smug phoniness to him that sets off my inner alarms.

Oh, you mean like Condoleezza Rice?

Regarding Rice: According to all of my friends in the military or former military, if she were to run for president, they would ALL vote for her.

ICE=Goon Squad

They aren't all goons, but they are doing a difficult job for a morally bankrupt administration. They need a new "mission statement," new leadership, better directives on how to handle illegals. That said, it does take a "special" kind of person to yank small children from their parents and put them in cages or camps. I could never bring myself to do that job.

What about Kamala Harris? A person who accused an innocent man of being a rapist, even though there was no evidence nor reliable witnesses to say it happened? A woman who joined in with her colleagues that accused an innocent man of being an alcoholic all his life? An individual who tried to destroy not only an innocent man's life but also his family and friends' lives over a baseless allegation just to deny Trump a Supreme Court Justice pick when the chair was empty and needed to be filled? A politician who has joined a lunatic fringe group of people in her own party who are hell bent on character assassination of those that they disagree with or simply don't like? Someone who gets a shrill of joy in her spine when she's making an innocent person's life miserable?

Oh yeah, Trump should be scared of someone like that. Wait till Cory Booker joins and says "I am Spartacus" in his announcement speech. Man, Trump will be shaking in his boots then. I mean he's already petrified by the 1/2400 Native American, Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren, with a beer in her hand and her high cheek bones shining bright. The we have the failed candidate for Ted Cruz's Texas Senate seat, Beto O'Rourke, riding in on a skateboard and helping (illegally) fund many illegal aliens' trips to get into our country. And how about Kristen Gillebrand... no, really. What has she done? Well, anyway, she's blonde and a woman, and, yeah, women's rights. Or has anyone heard of mayor Pete Buttigieg? Even he failed to become the DNC chairman 2 years ago, he's openly a homosexual and he's (somehow) a scholar, according to the media (they're so trustworthy). Let's not forget about Crazy Bernie though, with his 3 houses, preaching about Democratic Socialism. Sure, it's practically the same as National Socialism that Adolf Hitler preached, but hey, it's socialism, Y'AAALLLLL!!!

Yeah, Trump has met his match, man. Before any primary races have even started, he's just done. Forget that none of the Democrats that are currently in Congress won't take any of his proposals to reopen the part of government that's closed, and forget that all of them tried (and still trying) to ruin Brett Kavanaugh's life during his confirmation hearing to become a SCOTUS Justice, without any evidence nor reliable witnesses (either the people named by Ford that said it never happened and the so called other victims that said they made it up). Forget all those little tiny snags. Trump is just screwed because the Left says so!

have a nice day this is the same as the last no response.

I am...reading your posts being a great smile to my face...
