Whut?
These people may be heavily medicated... that this is tied back to Harris who's the heir apparent to Barbara Boxers Senate seat is interesting. Will Harris get the "Christy" treatment or will this all be shoved under the rug and quickly forgotten come the run up to the Senate election? Where I a betting man, it'd be at least a few C notes on the latter.
Unreal, the Masonic Fraternal Police Dept. ....these people were running around in California and telling people they are the First Police Dept in the World. That they go back to the Knights Templar. That they have SOVEREIGN Jurisdiction in 33 States. They were actually sending Letters out to Police Chiefs and communicating with them. What say ye?
An aide to California Attorney General Kamala Harris and two others claiming to be part of the "Masonic Fraternal Police Department" and descendants of the Knights Templar were arrested last week on suspicion of impersonating police officers. Brandon Kiel, the deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice, has been placed on administrative leave according to The Los Angeles Times. Two others, David Henry and Tonette Hayes, were also placed in custody.
According to the Times, law enforcement officials first noticed something was amiss when several police chiefs in Southern California received a letter earlier this year that announced leadership positions for the group, which traces its origins to the mysterious medieval order known as the Knights Templar. The group claims it has sovereign jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico, and that it has operated for thousands of years.....snip~

It's California.
She'll probably run for president as the "first black woman" and win
I didn't see any mention of squad cars.Mornin' Ockham. :2wave: They even said they had jurisdiction in Mexico. LA Detectives think there are others involved. They ran Security Companies too.
Busted not only with police equipment.....but even squad cars.
Its like Ockham was saying.....some think she would take Boxer's Seat. They have placed her Aide on Administrative leave.
I have no idea who those people are and hopefully will never have to. I am safe in Canada where the freak show is entertainment not government.
This is another indication of the destruction by erosion of the moral fabric of America. An aid to a governor thinks she can organize a private police force, and walk away. The left has lost sight of the very concepts on which it is founded and has adopted a gang mentality, giving themselves some form of irrational status by claiming to be 300 years old. As if Mason's would give them lunch.
Based on Obama's success, Hillary evading any real scrutiny, Lerner walking free, I suspect this black bimbo will become a hero of the left.
I don't know about you, but this scares the hell out of me, makes me want to close the ****ing border and build a 100 foot wall with machine guns and mustard gas.
are you really scared, or are you just saying that? I mean, really? this scares you? just seems like a bizarre story about some crazy people.
That California government would allow this to happen - yeah scary. Who funded this fake police force? Who equipped them? Follow the money.... anyone with a sense of history knows something like this unchecked starts looking like early 20th century fascist Europe's beginnings. Anyone not a little frightened at this is either ignorant or just as bizarre as those involved.
except they didn't let it happen...they put a stop to it once they found out about it.
huffington post said:“I always see them with their uniforms, so I thought they were part of any department, I didn’t know it was a fake one,” she said.

California is fun and their elected officials are even funner.
I didn't see any mention of squad cars.
But they did let it happen - this wasn't a conspiracy to create such a police force was it? Maybe I'm misunderstanding....
Let's find out some more information - if this was some conspiracy and these people bought their own equipment, uniforms, etc., and simply created this fictitious organization that's one thing - if money is tied to the Democrats in California like Harris, that's another entirely.

it sounds to me like they put a stop to it as soon as they found out about it and will be making more arrests. ask yourself what's most likely here: crazy people acting crazy? or some big conspiracy to create a secret police force that has a weird website full of grammatical errors which then sends out letters to real police departments alerting them to their existence and setting up meetings?
seriously, if it's a conspiracy, they must not have been trying very hard.
LA Times said:Employees at the Backwoods Inn restaurant in Santa Clarita remember a day about a month ago when Henry — a regular customer — walked in with a swagger.
He wore a dark blue police uniform with badges and insignia on both arms. He told the staff at the country western-themed eatery off the Sierra Highway he was a police chief and handed out his business card with pride.
It read MASONIC FRATERNAL POLICE DEPARTMENT in capital letters and identified Henry as Chief Henry 33
“He was very big on saying ‘I'm the chief, I'm the chief,'” said one server who talked to him when he stopped by two or three times a week. She spoke on the condition that her name not be used.
“He carried himself like a cop, his uniform was spot on to a regular cop uniform, we all thought he was a legit cop,” said a chef at the restaurant. Henry regularly brought in his children.
Employees said Henry told them the department had set up offices in a strip mall next to a storefront church in Santa Clarita.
Church members said they didn't talk to their neighbors but said they saw a few men come and go dressed in sharp suits. They drove a black Lincoln town car with no license plates.
“We thought they were a security company,” said one church member.
Ok, let's peel back the onion a bit. What's most likely is that these people acted on their own - however, there are a few items contrary to that notion. First - this group walked around in public with uniforms. Second, this group had a website - certainly not a move one would use if they wished to keep their endeavors a secret - so they must have had no issue with being publicly seen for what they were attempting to be - a separate police force. From their own website:
About | Masonic Fraternal Police Department
From the LA Times article:
Who paid for the towncars? No where in the article did it state these people were armed as legitimate police normally are via empowerment by the government (as well no firearms charges were filed by the prosecutors office). Hell, these guys even went into the LA County Sheriff's office, dressed in their uniforms that they were setting up shop in the area. Lastly, Masons come from all walks of life but, many are found in government and while masons have a very robust history with the US founding fathers - nothing much has changed since then. I'm not willing to dismiss a conspiracy since, in the public's eye "Masons" and "conspiracy" are linked in historical and popular culture.
That's hilarious. Why don't they have jurisdiction in the other seventeen states?

here's a pretty good comment from the website that sums up what I think of this:
"Way to pin Kamela Harris to a story that has basically NOTHING to do with her. What's next: Citizen in Barack Obama's country kills puppy."
