The least deadly way to minimize the danger of the Covid-19 virus in a population is through vaccination.

Masks are neither 0% nor 100% effective.

Masks work two ways; they help to protect the wearer and, if the wearer carries the virus, they help to protect those around the wearer.

Vaccinations are not 100% effective. A 'best guess' lies somewhere around 85-95%.

The combination of avoiding crowds, wearing a mask when near other people, maintaining physical distancing and frequent hand washing provides a relatively high degree of protection from the Covid-19 virus.

The need for annual booster shots is yet to be determined.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

I agree.

The J&J vaccine was one shot and done.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were a set of 2 shots which were taken 3 or 4 weeks apart.

The second shot was the booster shot.
It has not been determined yet how long the shots will be effective.

Some experts say they might be effective for 10 years.

Hi!

Thanks for the additional facts.

We'll know more about the need for booster shots in the fullness of time.

Surprisingly to some probably, I agree with much of what you say. This virus has turned out to be more deadly than many that have come before it. The primary reason for this is that we are aging humanity and we are out of shape from years and even decades of primarily staying in the house watching TV, doing video games, on the computer or cell phone, and eating processed foods filled with salt and sugar and preservatives. Of course, too many of us live in packed in cities because we have accepted that when we live and work in sardine cans.

We are forgetting that this virus mainly attacks the elderly and like socialist are putting everyone into the same pot of water because humans have been taught that equality is the most important thing today.

Here is one of the best allegorical descriptions of how masks work.
