Just So You Don't Forget What Happened To America's Middle Class

I was pretty sure you felt that way. Keep it up.....the end is near.
"The end?" End of what? Rich people? Who will pay for the dregs of society? Who will shower the losers in "free stuff" when no one can afford it?

People are smart enough that they will not let a bunch of inept assholes get all the money. You have enough.
That's where you're wrong. It's the smart people that have put themselves in the position of wealth they're in. The stupid ones are the ones with the gimme-gimme-gimme wealth envy. The intellectually devoid who cannot make it in society, and need Mommy Government to keep them afloat.

As a matter of fact right now we should go back to the anyone who makes more than $300,000 per year pays 91% of the excess toward paying down the Reagan/Bushes debt.
Big talk from someone who's probably never seen $300,000 in their entire lifetime. Keep that wealth envy flowing. Keep whining like a 5 year old who didn't get the toy he wanted for Christmas.

If you use the same comparative formulas which were used when CEO's made 50 times as much as a carpenter or plumber instead of 500 times as much it does.

You want to define the middle class by how much money CEO's earn? I'm afraid your logic escapes me. Or your lack of logic. Envy really is an ugly state of mind.

Avarice is even uglier.

Avarice is even uglier.

I think envious describes his post better than avaricious. To be avaricious he would have to have the means of taking rich people's money. Since he doesn't, he is just envious.

How much CEO's make has no bearing on it.

Sure it does.
In the United Kingdom the ratio of CEO to worker pay is one fourth what it is here and in Japan the ratio is even smaller.

When the middle class makes a little more pay then spend more on everyday items, products and services and grow the economy.
When more products and services are being bought , companies hire more people , which in turn helps to grow the economy.

Disclaimer...
This has nothing to with wealth envy.
My husband has owned his own company over 40 years and we are doing very well.

You stopped way short for some reason.

Not including Clintons Sub-Prime Bubble and Obama's 7,000,000,000,000.00 in new debt and his Trillions in QE seems subjective.

I mean its pretty simple, right ? Your point ? Elect Democrats.

Well we did and NOW what ? Because things have gotten much worse.

I'm talking about your position... not his.

If you give tax cuts to one group, don't give them to another, and don't cut spending... guess who pays the bill? Therefore, the wealth redistribution happened in the 80s-90s... both via taxes and diverting profits and wages to the executive level only.

My traditional conservative upbringing, handed down directly from the days of Lincoln, says you take care of your people first, then you can pay yourself.

Neo-conservatism and trickle down says, I am the only one deserving of merits from profit, why should I pay them anything? They should be happy to be working at all.

That my friend, is anti-christian, anti-patriotic, and the root of avarice.

And save your breath... or fingertips... there is nothing with which you can reply to that, which won't make you look like a played tool.
