What an embarrasing, yet all too typical display of liberal bias in action. Not only is this woman incapable of answering a straight forward question, but she then hangs up during the interview... MSNBC quality on full display... Just amazing.

McCarthy failed, the Commies err 'Progressives' are in power as we speak.

They can't honestly admit who they really are.

That was the most retarded interview I heard since the last time I tuned into the dumbest people on TV, the cast of Fox and Friends. I can't believe this gives you a sense of pride, Grim. Jeepers, your standards are low.

I thought you guys didn't like "gotcha" journalism? If the point is that Karen's comments were exaggerated and themselves likely to contribute to a climate of paranoia, he should say that, not play these games. He was avoiding the point as much as she was.

...you think a dishonest debate tactic by the radio host is a good thing? You really are reaching here. I listened to the interview and I would have hung up on the host as well. He was a complete ass. He kept asking a question which was completely irrelevant.

This is a perfect example of the hot air trash that call themselves journalists on BOTH sides of the playing field avoiding speaking responsibly and professionally and replacing those attributes with irresponsible childish jibberish. Listening to this hideous bucket of scum exchange it reminded me of two six year olds arguing who has a bigger better yard ot whose mommie is prettier. PATHETIC

I am sorry, but this guy was acting like an internet troll and was repeating the same question over and over and over again.

I think she was absolutely right to hang up on such an irritant and obstinate talk show host.

You've got it completely wrong Grim, Karen Finney agreed to talk to him about Ted Cruz he decided to change the subject to communism. Anyone with any brains at all would have hung up on him as well. MG is correct, your standards are really low.

MSNBC's Karen Finney Hangs Up on Hugh Hewitt | Mediaite

It’s rare to see liberals, let alone MSNBC hosts, appear on conservative radio shows, but miracles do happen, and MSNBC host Karen Finney called into Hugh Hewitt‘s radio show. But whatever they had planned to talk about, it was derailed almost immediately when they got into a huge shouting match over McCarthyism and communists within the American government. Hewitt kept pestering Finney to say whether Alger Hiss was a communist. Finney repeatedly deflected, but when Hewitt kept pushing her on the same point, she hung up on him.

Hewitt welcomed Finney with a clip of her on MSNBC comparing Ted Cruz‘s “paranoia” and “fear-stoking” to Joe McCarthy. Hewitt immediately asked Finney about actual communist infiltration of the government. She dismissed the “hysteria” of the time, but Hewitt didn’t let her off easy there. He said, “It’s an easy question! Do you think Alger Hiss was a communist?”

Finney insisted it had nothing to do with her point, telling Hewitt she didn’t want to “go down a rabbit hole” with him. She said, “Hugh, I’m not doing this game with you!”

They got into some heated crosstalk, at which point Finney hangs up on Hewitt. As soon as Hewitt realized what she’s done, he immediately burst into laughter and mocked her for not being able to “handle a little tiny question.”

Radio idiot even admits that Alger Hiss had nothing to do with the point Finney had made about Cruz

He refused to discuss the issue, and claims that Finney can't deal with the issue

I think many of you missed something in that interview, so let me enlighten you... Based on her stating that communists "supposedly" infiltrated the U.S. government, His first question to her was

"Did any communists infiltrate the U.S.government?"

She of course didn't answer him, so he asked her again

"Did any communists infiltrate the U.S.government?"

She then said to Hewitt

"Please, go ahead and name them"

and he replied

"I'm trying to figure out if you know if any of them did".

Then finally, she says,

"No... There weren't any communists that infiltrated our government..."

She then tried to make some phony comparison to Michelle Bachman...

Get it now people?

This liberal MSNBC journalist who was railing on Ted Cruz and comparing him to McCarthy, falsely asserted that no communist had infiltrated the U.S. government. That's why Hewitt then asked her if Alger Hiss was a communist... She was wrong, made false claims, and instead of facing up to it, she ran away like a coward.

That is liberal journalism and MSNBC in a nut shell... No integrity what so ever.

But conservative radio entertainers have integrity in droves....

I did a little searching and found an article that sums it all up rather well:

Audio: If you want to toss around bogus McCarthy references … « Hot Air

So in your world, Libbo Libtards are also Commies, right?

I do. Obama's grandparents were card carrying Communists and he was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis (a Communist)

Thing is you can change the name (of Communists) but the ideals are still the same.

How predictable... Attacking conservatives instead of addressing the topic.
The topic was Ted Cruz, the idiot on the radio wanted to make it about communism so she left and nobody with half a brain can blame her.

The whole issue with McCarthyism is that it's an overreaction. Something takes a life of it's own and spreads and becomes toxic. McCarthy had his supporters early on including the American people...but he fell down a rabbit hole where communist were everywhere.

That's what McCarthyism is about. It's not the fact that he was wrong in every way and no soviet spies existed in the 50's. It's about using a couple of instances of Communist spies and blowing it into some national emergency that requires constant congressional hearings and black lists.

In Cruz's case..**** he's not even concerned about being right even to a small degree. He just says **** with no basis.

Wow. Libs are commies. All this time, I thought they were more about freedom. :doh
