Went to the doctors today to get some test results back and get some questions in for my doctors - Not a complete bill of health but I'm gaining weight which is a pretty good sign. The doctors prescribed a stronger dose of dilaudid just in case I start cramping again(the 5mg dose wasn't working). The doctor says I can start trying different foods now - still baby steps though. It's fun I thought of driving up to Canada and going to a Lebanese restaurant just for kicks(I'm a fiend for Arabic food). Doctor still says I can't have fast food. Which frankly I dont miss. They also lowered by Prednisone Dose from 8 pills a day to 5. Yeah it's pretty good right now. I have to exercise to regain all the muscle mass I lost. I've gone from 113(51.3Kg) to about 136(61.8Kg) which is extremely good cause I was looking like Holocaust survivor when I came out of the hospital. I'm waiting for the doctors go ahead to jump back on the machines. He says I need to give it a few more pounds. My pancreas apparently is responding well to my diet and medication and it doesn't look like I'll need surgery or a transplant of any kind for a while. Anyways just wanted to inform you guys of the good news
