The band between 10 and 15 degrees north latitude in the Atlantic Ocean continues to spawn westward-moving storms. How many will form into hurricanes and how many of these will impact the United States remains to be seen. The one thing we do know is that the slow warming of the globe has increased the energy available to Ol' Jupe. This can be expressed as more storms and/or stronger storms.

We can but watch as the current season unfolds. How it will impact voting in the current election cycle remains to be seen. Two important states in the voting process are Florida and Texas. Both have great exposure to hurricanes.

Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.
