Judge Orders 50% of San Quentin's Prisoners Released, or Transferred

You would think it would be easy to keep inmates social distanced in prison. Especially with the cells and locked doors and all.

Go figure!

Maybe if California stopped treating criminals like they are in a country club. That or or fire up their gas chamber again and offing all of the 744 dirtbags already on death row to make some room. Yeah, "transfer" them to pine boxes.

Probably because it's not the decision of the reporters on who will be released.

You'd say yourself and everyone else time and effort if you just said Jews. Everyone knows that's what you mean, and coming up with nicknames for added alliterative appeal helps nothing.

Scott Wiener for example has been behind dozens of laws written with the intent of helping criminals avoid prison, or receive early parole. He's another out-of-state vulture that swooped in to take advantage of a bad situation.

My only hope is one day you'll realize how truly unnecessary our incarceration rate is.

- The left wingers didn't seem to care when elderly people in nursing homes were dying at far greater numbers than the inmates are. As said previously, the health of convicted killers and rapists trumps the health of law abiding citizens, in the minds of radicals like Wiener and Aviram.

There are various programs both government and non-government about helping seniors deal with COVID.
 
The only people the Democratic Party loves more than criminals are criminals who are illegally here.

And when Trump was limiting travel to and from China, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arranged for camera crews from media orgs to film her walking through Chinatown, as she told everyone to go eat in large groups at restaurants, which probably helped spread the disease. All of the Dem leadership engaged in such hokey partisan politics at that time, even accusing Trump and people who wanted answers of being racist and xenophobic of Asians. That's a ****ing CCP propaganda strategy, to get Americans fighting amongst each other over nothingburgers while they slither in and out of our institutions with our resources in their pocket.

We only have one president. He should either take the heat or get out of the kitchen.

He did take the lead, while the 'respected' global health organization of the UN shilled on China's behalf, releasing disinformation that said travel restrictions aren't effective--the countries hit last by coronavirus were places without large scale travel from China and Europe. The WHO now has contradicted themselves for the umpteenth time, reversing their previous recommendation for shutdowns. A Democratic President would have solely followed the WHO guideline, which would likely have increased the death toll.

You admit then that this drive to release murderers and rapists isn't about covid, its about the left's longtime desire to spring prisoners out of incarceration.
 
As long as they all stay in California, no skin off my nose.

Doesn't half of California live in smoke-filled $600K shoeboxes with rolling blackouts anyway? That can't be too different from life in San Quentin. :unsure:

The difference is we pay for our $600k shoebox, and we also pay for the prisoner's shoeboxes. IIRC, each inmate costs the state $100k per year.

Right. Hence one hand, letting them out means a few more rapes and murders every year, but on the other, keeping them inside means $100K per year per head. That's money that can be put towards firefighters, riot police, skin grafts and such.

Seems like a pretty even deal.

Or option #3--clean out the 800 prisoners on death row, and all of the child molesters, rapists, and non-self defense homicide offenders.
