Khartoum -- Sudan has expressed its gratitude to Russia and some friendly countries at the UNSC for their diplomatic efforts to foil the U.S attempt to impose a ban on Sudan’s gold exports.
The Minister of Minerals Ahmed Mohamed Al-Sadiq Al-Karouri said that Washington had sought to secure UNSC resolution to sanction gold exports, but said such attempt was blocked thanks to diplomacy by Russia. Sudan Vision Daily
