His statement, that Harris is “ready to lead on day one,” drew mockery from critics.

“LMAO. Joe Biden’s pitch to America is ‘vote for me, my VP will take over soon!'” one user said.

“At least you admit(unwittingly) that she’ll be in charge on day one,” another added.

“She’ll be the one leading,” another quipped. “Not you.”

Biden’s pitch for Harris follows a Rasmussen poll released this week, revealing that the majority of likely voters do not believe Biden will serve all four years if elected.

Respondents were asked, “If Biden is elected in November, how likely is it that his running mate will be president before the end of Biden’s four-year term – very likely, somewhat likely, not very likely or not at all likely?”

Fifty-nine percent of likely voters indicated that it was likely that Biden’s running mate will take over before his term’s end.

So it is sounding like Biden isn’t even planning to unpack!

Less than 90 days before the November elections, President Trump is trailing former Vice President Joe Biden by 4 percentage points in a new Hill-HarrisX national poll.

Forty-four percent of registered voters in the August 8-11 survey said they'd vote for Biden if the election were held today.

By contrast, 40 percent of voters said they'd choose Trump at the ballot box.

Four percent of voters said they'd prefer someone else as their candidate for president, while another 4 percent of voters do not plan to vote.

She began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, before being recruited to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office and later the City Attorney of San Francisco's office. Jamaicans have various countries of origin, but the vast majority of Jamaicans are of African descent, with minorities of Europeans, East Indians, Chinese, Middle Eastern and others or mixed ancestry.

I think it is unfortunate. I trust Biden to exercise restraint in office and safeguard our civil rights from encroachment by the state far more than I trust Kamala Harris.

Her record demonstrates that she exercises executive power over people's lives a bit too free and easily for my tastes. I am given to distrust all those who seek power. And I am certainly against those who outright state that they shall abuse their power by exercising it to the total limit and beyond if it is given to them.
