U.S. employers added fewer than expected jobs last month as extended unemployment benefits encouraged workers to stay home.
Employers added 559,000 jobs in May, the Labor Department said Friday, missing the addition of 650,000 jobs that analysts surveyed by Refinitiv were expecting. April’s reading was revised higher by 12,000 to 278,000.
The unemployment rate, meanwhile, declined 0.3 percentage points to 5.8%, its lowest since the pandemic caused businesses to shut their doors in March 2020.
Another example of data that will be skewed by the left promoting failed liberal economics. The target for Biden is 159 million jobs and as states open up there will be returning jobs, not NEW jobs created. I cheer 559,000 Americans returning to work but paying people to stay home and spending 1.9 trillion dollars on a supposed rescue plan isn't incentive for Americans to return to work and fill the over 8 million jobs available according to Commerce.
As predicted it is job growth that is touted not context, keep supporting that fraud called liberalism. You people really have no idea what context is, do you? Found out that you can never change the mind of a cult follower. 7.6 million jobs just to get back to pre pandemic levelHalf a million jobs added, an unemployment rate decreasing, and Con STILL finds a way to whine.

By all means post it and explain to us why a returning job is just as important as a new job and what exactly is the metric you will judge Biden on?More mindless ranting.
See my sig #2.If you don't have sigs visible, I'll be more than happy to copy-paste it for you.

Absolutely solid work like shutting down employment on the Keystone Pipeline and the media filling your head with praise. already post the official BLS data which you will ignore(Post3), a returning job isn't a new job created and it is new taxpayers that are needed as well as a full return to pre pandemic levels thus stop paying people to stay homeThe US job market is on the way back up, thanks to the solid work of the new Biden/Harris government.
But far more important would be to create the new green jobs of the future and eliminate low-paid jobs, similar to slavery.
Raise the minimum wage now to 15$ at least.
Yep, liberal economics and propaganda at play, still waiting for you to tell me why anyone from TX would like this state to be like California and its liberal government? It will take a while for all the jobs to recover from the TRUMP disaster but this is a great sign...

LMAO... Texas DREAMS of being like California with its tech industry....
Big technology that hasn't helped the state at all? you really are clueless regarding liberal results as you continue to buy the feel good rhetoric. The 6th largest economy in the world leads the country in poverty, homelessness, with among the highest minimum wage, cost of living, poorest quality of life all with liberal leadership since the 60's. Once you realize how stupid people are buying the liberal rhetoric it will be too lateLMAO... Texas DREAMS of being like California with its tech industry....
Austin is a blue city in a red state with a Democratic mayor for decadesShhh...don't tell him about Austin
Of course you do, out of sight out of mind, keep living in that basement totally oblivious the reality that China, India, Russia don't seem to have a problem with pollution.I could care less about environment-destroying pipeline and oil jobs ... green and technology jobs are the future.
The Trump-voting coal miners in West Virginia will have to adapt to these changes or get lost.

Why can't you stick to the topic, it isn't about technology it is about liberalism being a social and fiscal disaster that benefits only the top which liberals claim they don't want to support. Results matter and until liberalism generates the results to reconcile with its rhetoric, you people are being made a fool of.And Texas's tech hub. Why do you hate technology hubs?

You seem to not know what the Congress does, it was Democratic from January 2019 to the end of the Trump term. Why is it civics is a foreign subject to youThe liberals are once again failing to act swiftly enough to get the United States back on its feet again in the wake of a Republican administration.
