Jewish or Female presidency? (1 Viewer)

Do you think the American people will ever elect a Jew or a woman to the office of presidency?

Geraldine Ferraro and Joe Leiberman were picked as Veep running mates on the Democratic ticket, but as you all know--they lost and they were not elected to fill that spot by the American voting populace.

John Kennedy became the first Catholic president despite great opposition to his religious affiliation. Would it be possible for a Jew to find similar success to that of John Kennedy? I know that I would vote for Michael Savage if he decided to run for president, but not because of his Jewishness, but rather because he is a Republican with similar views to mine.

Hillary Clinton will probably be seeking the Democratic nomination for the 2008election. I see too many people opposing her Marxist leanings to vote her in as our next CIC.

The strongest female leaders that I have seen were Margaret Thatcher of England and Condi Rice our current Secretary of State. Unfortunately neither one will be running for the American presidency.

I fail to see how any other Jewish or female politician has performed so radically different than their evil-white-Christian-man counter part, so I doubt that such a president would make a significant difference in how the US conducts itself.

Why not ask about electing a homosexual president? We've already had a bisexual first lady.

I would vote for a jewish man to be president as long as that individual was a real jew and conservative and not a liberal/cafeteria jew/jewish in name only/fake jew.I would also vote for a woman to be president as well as long as she was conservative.

I would be more likely to vote for a jew than someone of a mainstream superstition, because they’d be much less likely to pander to religious idiots who have no valid secular reasons for their stances.

BTW, female first, then Jew. Anti-Semitism is stronger in this country than sexism (especially if posts on this board are any indication). Also, there have been more world leaders from other countries that have been female than have been Jewish.

I would vote for anyone I though would do a good job and reflected my view regardless of race, creed, or sex.

Whether she did or not has no bearing on her sexual preference. Plenty of women stay with 'cheaters' and they aren't bisexual.
