There are countless of people even outside the Islamic world who will draw this comparison that doesn't make it a valid one of course it's nothing but the usual revolting comments made on Israel and Israeli attitudes by those who hate it and who hate the people who live inside it like the antisemitic BDS movement and other far-left organizations, there's no doubt really that this comparison is every bit as valid when made with Britain, Italy and France as it is with Israel let alone the actual absurd, pathetic accusation of 'genocide'. BLM in this case made an alliance with the antisemitic BDS movement and thus came the "foreign policy" declared in the OP. As Excon put it rightfully eventually what we're talking about is just idiots, I'll add hateful idiots, and yes Desmund Tutu falls under that definition as well as he made this comparison, I'll argue it's a clear insult on blacks as well as it compares the actual racist policies faced by blacks at that place and time with citizens who have full rights and are equal to every other citizen of the state.

What this teaches us more than anything else is what should already be well known to many, you practically can't be a far-left extremist without first and foremost being a hater of Israel and the Israeli people, if not an antisemite. People who are being radicalized and become far-left radicals are in most cases embracing, before anything else, anti-Israeli and antisemitic positions.

What this teaches us more than anything else is what should already be well known to many, you practically can't be a far-left extremist without first and foremost being a hater of Israel and the Israeli people, if not an antisemite. People who are being radicalized and become far-left radicals are in most cases embracing, before anything else, anti-Israeli and antisemitic positions.

Which is both unfortunate and really weird. You wouldn't think that the left would support a reactionary anti-Semitic ethnic nationalist movement against a liberal democracy established to protect Jews, but here we are. I consider myself a leftist, and I support Israel for the same reason I support Black Lives Matter - the right of minorities to live without fear of arbitrary violence - but so many other leftists are tragically on the wrong side of the issue.
