That show is going to be worthless without him. That is assuming they even try to continue it.
The papers will say whatever sells. It's rubbish and they know it.But that is what even some papers have said in the UK (or blogs) that the liberals finally got their wish and other comments about political correctness being the real reason he was fired.
If that's important it deserves attention without the distraction of discussion about the (alleged) assault then. And the important issue is political correctness going too far according to some. For that reason the other 2 cases were mentioned by me.
Clarkson can be hilarious, but he is clearly a dick.
You cannot go around punching your producer and then be surprised when you are fired.
I read that Clarkson wanted out anyway to do other things and this was as good a way to get out as any.
No way !!
He's the best part of the show.
Hey Jeremy, you're welcome to come to America and bring James and the " American " and start a new.
Well hoping that someone will die is not a death threat and fully protected by the 1st amendment in America unlike some of the backwards European countries
No way !!

What happened to Two and a Half Men will happen here...
No, no, no, please not. I love Top Gear America with Tanner Faust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara, there is no need to add Clarkson to this excellent trio or worse, replace one of the three with Clarkson.
Do you really think the US would allow them to come in and film a similar show that is being filmed right now?
That show is going to be worthless without him. That is assuming they even try to continue it.
.I definitely have to laugh at those three being described as an excellent trio.
"The US" has no say, they can come here and film anything they want to film and "the US" can do nothing about it. The United States has nothing to do with what is filmed for television.
You have to understand that some sort of understanding may excuse some behavior but violence is not one of them, come to think of it neither is showing of prejudices.
Contrary to how things work on the illegal side of things, a non citizen has to have a work permit to work in the US.
I don't know if Clarkson or the other 2 would be given the work permits as there are Americans that can do that same work.
I don't think Ashton Kutcher knows enough about cars to take over that show.
I don't think that he knows enough about comedy to take over any show...
Well that is true, but the experiment is now done.
What they did to Two and a Half Men is weird...
Yes and I'm sure that they would be doing things entirely legally and above board. You seem to think that because some crappy History channel in the U.S. is licensing the name "Top Gear" from the BBC and making a wholly inferior show on every conceivable level, that three British people cannot come to the U.S. and make another TV show because the U.S. somehow has a stake in stopping them. There are British actors making movies and TV shows in Hollywood every second of every day. Don't be daft.
Let's get to the heart of the issue.
The BBC absolutely, 110% made the right decision, I say this as a Clarkson Fan.
Take away all other factors and the headline reads.
"Man fired after assaulting co-worker".
End of story.
Clarkson knew it, the BBC knew it and the public should understand it.
