Wow. Red was using her verbal linguistic gymnastics to the fullest yesterday.

She lies like a rug.
———

President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki tried to evade White House responsibility for soaring gas prices Monday, casting blame solely on overseas turmoil in Ukraine.

Gas prices hit a national average of $4.06 a gallon, according to AAA, this week reaching a new high not seen since 2008 when prices reached their all-time peak at $4.11.

She avoids eye contact and trips over her words when she's lying.

Her eyes dart around like squirrels crossing a busy street.
I bet she’s good in the rack. Dominant type

For sure, Jen Psaki performs her Press Secretary function with more integrity and more effect than any of Chump’s ever did!

Gas prices were rising before this nut good try on the lie Jen
Gas prices were rising before Biden took office, good try on blaming him though

Yes, they were on the rise BEFORE the war began. In part because of uncertainty surrounding the whole situation revolving around Ukraine prior to Russian tanks crossing into Ukraine. This is how the global crude market works. Uncertainty and the THREAT of war drives prices up. Neither Biden nor Jen Psaki control this.

Do you know how we van avoid being beholden to the volatility of the global oil market? Move past fossil ****ing fuels instead of doubling down.

Well as long as there are people to carry their water the mess will get out

But the job of a press secretary IS to, uh, fib.

It would be strange for a press secretary to tell the brutal truth.

In any case, hear tell Ms. P. is soon leaving.

Maybe she is tired of all the fibbing.

BWHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I stopped reading right there, i learned in highschool how stupid, backwards and economically ignorant it is to lay blame on the Whitehouse/President for global gas prices in most reality based cases LMAO
I love those that try though it exposes them as the propagandists they are

Yes, lets just ignore:
- 2 years of Covid changing the economy from a services economy to a products oriented economy
- the supply chain's inability to absorb the initial hits from moving to a products oriented economy as we came out of Covid
- an economy though products based roaring back to life with predictable impacts on prices
- a fed apparently slow to react

Lets just ignore all of that because Biden....biden....biden

So what part does the Whitehouse have in gas prices? Please be specific, and back your claim with evidence.

Biden .. finally sanctioned Russian oil imports, and this should have been an immediate action so Putin's war chest wasn't being funded. Unfortunately for Biden, who is against domestic fossil fuel developments, this will only increase the cost of fuel, and dive deeper into American wallets as we are headed into a midterm election.

Executive Orders to prevent new oil lease permits ... aka .. domestic production. The United States has a massive dependency on foreign oil for fossil fuel development, when we could rely on our own resources (which Biden and Democrats are looking to minimize / shut down).

Expect to pay $5+ / gallon shortly based on where you live...

*sigh*. This again.

Biden's approach on fossil fuels is pessimistic, regardless of this new ruling. In addition, Biden (among others) is sanctioning Russia's ability to sell oil and sanctions have already targeted the pipeline to Germany. Less fuel availability, without domestic production, will inevitably increase fuel costs. We are already seeing this across the United States .. really?

Democrats despise fossil fuel developments .. they are the ruling party now, and the mindset continues to spook futures on oil investments. Be real .. the Biden administration is "fueling" a portion of the increased costs you will pay at the pump.

If you voted for Biden, thank yourself for this high inflation
