But the article linked previously was concerning an election in CONNECTICUT!!! Or are you revising history again claiming that Connecticut is in the south?

Perhaps when you claim 'it's not a straight decline' your timeframe for this 'decline' is say 100-150 years...If so I would stipulate but again the same could be predicted for any current party.
