Speaking of theatre, Trump did not comment on whether he would testify before the committee. So much for loving the idea.Symbolic. Theatre
I know. I know. That's the same response many use when listening to Hershel Walker. And DJT.what??
Yeah, wake up and watch some real news like fox or newsmax.Wake up Qdog. You're living in a media created fantasy land.
I personally like the actors who 'appeared' to be smashing their way into the capitol and the oscar for best performer should go to the young lady who acted like she had been shot. What part of the acting did you enjoy the most? They've been planning this for months to coincide with the midterms. Love the acting job(s).
Awwwwww. Sorry bout the rioters who got off Scott free.
I'm calling your bullshit for what it is. Are you an adult? Do you need a tissue? So that's your argument. Repeated profanity?
Take care.
2 opinion pieces - duly noted.WaPo, NY Times opinion pieces rip Jan. 6 Committee as 'ineffective,' 'tedious': Sermon that 'just won't end'
Two opinion pieces from The New York Times and The Washington Post slammed the Jan. 6 Committee as "tedious," "wholly ineffective," and "preaches to the choir."www.foxnews.com
Crazy stuff. Weird.I know. I know. That's the same response many use when listening to Hershel Walker. And DJT.
Most all were let go. No one was in solitary kir in jail for a year without a trial.
Anyone during any protest who breaks the law should be arrested!!
Fact check: Thousands of Black Lives Matter protesters were arrested in 2020
Estimates put the cost of protest-related damage in 2020 at about $2 billion. But it's wrong to say protesters didn't face consequences.www.usatoday.com
By left wing rags no less2 opinion pieces - duly noted.
Ok, will bump it to half a point now. Just substitute MAGA for Nazi below that brings your point up to date.Joseph Goebbels territory
Yeah, and look what the WSJ wrote.By left wing rags no less
Early into the arrests of trespassers and whatever else those violators may have done - many were also let off the hook. However, being that thousands participated in the illegal trespass with intent to subvert the election result and transfer of power at the Capitol, along with assault, more serious charges were brought against those lawbreakers. Most all were let go. No one was in solitary kir in jail for a year without a trial.
Nah! that is what the propagandists in American media have done. More appropriately, Josef Goebbels's teachings are strictly by the left today. they repeated the Goebbelsian lie that He was a fascist when in fact Goebbels was a left-wing socialist who perfected the art of mass indoctrination and propaganda, now practiced even more ruthlessly by the MSM and in particular, people like Anderson Cooper, Joy Reid, AOC, Jake Tapper, the dearly departed Brian Stelter, Mika and Joe, the View, The NY Times, WaPo, CNN, MSNBS. Just watch the montage of them using the identical phrasing as given to them by the DNC for proof. Just hear them giving Breaking News as given to them on the side by the FBI.Ok, will bump it to half a point now. Just substitute MAGA for Nazi below that brings your point up to date.
Paul Joseph Goebbels (pronounced [ˈpaʊ̯l ˈjoːzɛf ˈɡœbl̩s] (listen); 29 October 1897 – 1 May 1945) was a German Nazi politician who was the Gauleiter (district leader) of Berlin, chief propagandist for the Nazi Party, and then Reich Minister of Propaganda from 1933 to 1945.
WSJ is no friend of TrumpsYeah, and look what the WSJ wrote.
Opinion | What the Jan. 6 Hearings Accomplished
A subpoena to Trump gets the headlines, but its work is mostly done.www.wsj.com
"What the committee has accomplished, however, is to cement the facts surrounding Mr. Trump’s recklessness after Nov. 3 and his dereliction of duty on Jan. 6. The Justice Department and Mr. Trump’s own campaign repeatedly told him that his fraud claims were without basis. Whether it was willful blindness or an intentional strategy, he kept repeating them.
"That day he riled up the crowd and urged it to march on the Capitol.
"The Jan. 6 committee probably won’t get Mr. Trump under oath, but the evidence of his bad behavior is now so convincing that political accountability hardly requires it."
I know!!! Being waVED IN BY THE GUARDS IS SERIOUS STUFF. 20 YEARS FOR THEM!Early into the arrests of trespassers and whatever else those violators may have done - many were also let off the hook. However, being that thousands participated in the illegal trespass with intent to subvert the election result and transfer of power at the Capitol, along with assault, more serious charges were brought against those lawbreakers.
I wished that more of that subject matter was covered myself. Just as I wanted more probing into Congress Critters who partook in their seditious manner to push the Big Lie.Well sure. It's spectacle over substance. The hearings had little to do with the riot and security failure at the capitol.
The Jan6 Committee probe should have had 3 years to cover everything. It was cut short by the midterm election. At times, their investigation felt like it crawled along like a snail, but it also felt rushed knowing that the House Committee would be shut down Jan, 2023. A 3 year probe into this very complex 1/6/21 event would probably have produced exposure about security issues. My point is that they really waited too long.
Nor is it a liberal rag. Point?WSJ is no friend of Trumps
Not all Cap Cops did that. Those very few who let them inside don't deserve to wear a badge. Don't forget how many lawbreakers broke their way into the Capitol. Shoved and forced their way to the chamber's doors while trying to break through them. There was intent on their part to also harm/kill government officials beyond those chamber doors and places where some officials were taken to hide from the assaulters. 10 years plus isn't enough in my opinion.I know!!! Being waVED IN BY THE GUARDS IS SERIOUS STUFF. 20 YEARS FOR THEM!
They broke in. One fool got herself killed. Claiming the police waved people in is disingenuous.I know!!! Being waVED IN BY THE GUARDS IS SERIOUS STUFF. 20 YEARS FOR THEM!
Sorry, I missed this other point that you made. There is one very important "purpose" that the Jan6 Committee may advance. Referrels to the DOJ.There's no purpose to this with regards to advancing a legitimate effort by the committee.
Almost as much as you liked the actors burning down buildings, looting stores, and murdering little girls, huh?I personally like the actors who 'appeared' to be smashing their way into the capitol and the oscar for best performer should go to the young lady who acted like she had been shot. What part of the acting did you enjoy the most?
My honest view here - the committee is completely unfocused. It's like doing a book report on an encyclopedia. They're never going to get a conclusion, and any 'recommendations' are going to be tossed in the trash.I wished that more of that subject matter was covered myself. Just as I wanted more probing into Congress Critters who partook in their seditious manner to push the Big Lie.
The Jan6 Committee probe should have had 3 years to cover everything. It was cut short by the midterm election. If 'the Left' protesters smashed their way into the Capitol screaming kill certain members of GOP government officials inside along with making other verbal threats towards all of them in general - some dressed in combat related gear with whatever on their persons that could be used as weapons, I'd expect that those 'Leftie' lawbreakers who also hurt many cops during their mission to stop the certification of the next president of the US to face very serious charges - including years of jail time. Most all were let go. No one was in solitary kir in jail for a year without a trial.
I get your point of view. My opinion is that the Jan6 Committee laid out a clear road map for what took place on 1/6/21 with what little they had to woirk with - meaning dealing with those that resisted cooperating with the Jan6 Committee. Our points of views differ except about the part concerning security issues. Again, another year or so for this Jan6 Committee probe to contiinue could beget results of security issues. Keep in mind that their final report may also touch more on that.My honest view here - the committee is completely unfocused.
