This is shameful. There is a woman out there who has been repeatedly raped by this lowlife. I cannot imagine how she feels seeing him being honored as some kind of hero. He is scum, who resisted arrest, fought with cops and provoked his own shooting.

Whether or not the shooting was completely justified, is debatable among reasonable people. But there is no debate about this lowlife scum. And it is pathetic thst our culture refuses to focus on the bigger problems, which is violent black offenders.

Blacks are 5 times as likely to murder, and obviously vastly more likely to buck and resist cops which put cops in an unwinnable situation.

Cop killings are not going to improve until we actually address with intelligence the main causes, instead of using it as political fodder. There is an incredible blindness and hysteria right now in the US that ignores facts and reasoning in favor if emotion and exploitation.

Why are blacks 5 times more likely to murder?

Root cause the problem, instead of describing symptoms.

Complicated question. There are likely many factors.

I think the majority boils down a culture thst doesn’t embrace basic keys that success, graduate high school, get a full time job, marry and wait a while to have kids. People who follow theses basic patterns are extremely likely to succeed.

But the point here is, cop killings have a root cause and it’s not racism (though might be a small secondary cause). Until we address the root cause we will be experiencing this chaos and confusion.

And where did that culture come from?

Ask the 5 whys.

Dont know, cultural change is dynamic, one influential person can sometimes be a “black swan” that inspires a culture to go in a good or bad direction. But usually it’s going to be a collection of influences. Hollywood, rappers, poor moral leadership from influential people. Poorly thought out welfare schemes that encouraged absent dads and concentrated the poor into ghettos, Ill conceive war on drugs that helped finance gangster lifestyles.

Rap started in the 80s as a result of violence and poverty, so it clearly didn't create this culture. Think real hard.

A culture of using violence as an acceptable means to get what you want. A culture of splitting families up, removing fathers from their wives or children, etc.

Think....where would such a culture have become stamped onto the black community in this country...

that something didn’t create it doesn’t mean it doesn’t feed it.

I guess you going to slavery. Some sources say black marriage became more of the norm until the 60s when it began to go the other way.

Regardless, I think lots of things perpetuate it. And one of those things is an utter lack of national conversation about it.

If as much focus was placed on that, as we do racism, I have little doubt it would do vastly more good for blacks than the racism focus.
