Republicans are claiming that Smith interfered with the 2024 election. He was appointed by the AG. He didn't appoint himself. These people are off their rockers. No way does this go anywhere. It's nothing more than a vindictive prosecution with absolutely no chance of success.

I think the hearings should be public. I think this is a far more interesting topic than even the Epstein thing. I would love to know what Jack Smith had uncovered in his investigations.

Nothing at all suspicious about Cotton instigating a retaliatory persecution of Smith ahead of his bid for reelection next year.

So, when this investigation is done, the best they can hope for is another investigation by DOJ.

I doubt it will even go that far. This is just another distraction from Epstein.

The penalty if it is found that he did violate the Hatch act is a reprimand or he gets fired........but he is is no longer a federal employee, so there's that! Lawfare is a bullshit term created by the orange child rapist. Using it is offensive.

The case will be booted and the malicious prosecution case will cost taxpayers money.

This is NOT a criminal or even civil investigation. Please see post #17. It is an ethics investigation which holds ZERO water now that Smith is no longer a public employee.
