I make a 30 minute drive to work every day from about 6:45 to 7:15. This morning the sunrise was incredible, but the best part was to the west where the Cascades were covered with fresh snow and lit up bright pink against a gray sky and hanging over fog-covered foot-hills. I've been making this drive for 18 of the last almost twenty years and this was one the most beautiful lighting jobs I've ever seen.
