I've Finally had it with Microsoft...I want specific suggestions on obtaining a new Operating System.

Wireheads (Linuxheads) will say they make their own software and don't play no kiddie games. Also, when talking with one of them, pronounce "Linux" with a long "i". Watch their face and eyes.
