It's been seven days, where are the jobs?

1. they aren't in office yet

2. you will be happy to know that after their election the stock market climbed to the highest point it's been at all year ;)

Like I said, committing a causal relationship error, an effort to take credit without doing anything yet. The sun came out right after I showered. I'm responsible for that. :coffeepap

For Democrats, the danger in demanding results from a Republican House (as if they could produce any without the Democratic Senate and Executive) is they may see some.

Come on Republicans, the people are suffering, you haven't done **** to get America back to work!

Ahhhhh, a Keith Olbermann fan, eh? I see that's his new tagline at the end of his show.

and a truly tremendous tag line it is.

Wow, more excuses. Americans expect more than that. It's time that Republicans acted responsibly and actually worked with Democrats to address America's problems.

I was not making excuses. I was suggesting caution with this question that I think is nothing more than a pout brought on by losing the House.

Perhaps that was wall streets response to seriously rising oil prices and the news that the Republican Congressman who publicly apologized to BP will be the new chairman of the Energy Committee in January. Heaven help us.

no, the rising oil prices that are the result of the current administrations' inflation agenda depress markets by raising costs.

 well certainly they haven't passed anything, but the markets do tend to go up with Republican elections and down with Democrat ones.

funny how you libs never ever suggest that the Democrats need to act responsibly and work with the Republicans when they are in control....

idk... do you make friends with the foamy rabid weasel or leave it in the corner?

Far be it for me to shock the people who seem to think I'm a liberal, but I feel I have to interject here.

It's been seven ****ing days. If you're demanding results from ANYONE for a problem this big, you have extremely unrealistic expectations.

The Republicans will screw it up, just give them time.

It hasn't been anydays. Consult the constitution if you are confused. thanks

You would have thought that just the election of the Republican free market hordes would have solved all our economic woes all by itself even without them taking office. The indicators of economic confidence should have soared through the roof with gleeful anticipation that the day of Capitalistic Jubilee is soon to arrive.

Is that you KO? Cute idea of saying that at the end of every show. I was sick of your other sign off message.

Sad the republican constituents think everything the left does is a communist plot.

Sad the democrat constituents first and best response is always irrelevent hyperbole

Aren't there some claiming that our current administration is causing economic woes by mere perception of what might happen in the future? ;)

Ah, and so the excuses begin...
more establishment excuses!!!!!!!!! The people will not be fooled!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell me you are both being sarcastic. The Republicans have no power yet and they won't until January. How can you blame and hold Republicans accountable when they haven't even bean seated yet?!

Wasn't there a stock market jump?

Stocks Jump To Fresh Highs Ahead Of Election Results

why, yes, yes they did. I accept your concession.

Part of the reason may be that so many on the left tend to support socialism and communism these days.

Nope. Its that many on the right cannot tell the difference between extreme liberalism (communism and socialism) and those who advocate a mixed economy or some other type of balance. Some people cannot seem to understand that there is a huge grey area between either extreme of black and white.

This is a good read that explains it much better than I can. I have a feeling you may learn something from it.
Communism

Communism
The only thing I picked up is the author has NO idea what he's talking about.

You can clearly align the platform of today’s Democratic Party with that of either the communist or socialist agenda, but most people have never looked and compared. Many of the grassroots workers in the DNC are from the socialist and communist party’s.
Having been a member of the CPUSA and currently a member of the SPUSA, the bolded is blatantly false.
