MOGADISHU, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Gunmen killed an Italian nun at a children's hospital in Mogadishu on Sunday in an attack that drew immediate speculation of links to Muslim anger over the Pope's recent remarks on Islam.

Another great story of tolerance and love from our islamic friends. Stories like these abound because the Pope said the only thing mohammed brought new to the world was violence and evil. I guess his point has been proved by those who would like us to hide our heads in the sand and believe otherwise. Too bad we behave just so most of the time, appeasers and enablers. Of course the first post after this will be "you can't smear the whole religion because of the actions of a few bad apples" Too bad, you don't kill nun's and hack peoples heads off to prove to me you aren't violent. Anybody see a disconnect there?

The Pope is right. Islam is nothing but an excuse for killing by thugs. Their actions have convinced me that Islam is a false religion.

I realize some of you will be upset at being pulled away from the Somali story but murder also happens here right in the USA--I'm sure your outraged at this terrible tortursome terrifying murder. In fact some Jihadists use this torture-murder technique also. :2wave:

I'm not a fan of Bill O-Reilly, the TV guy, but I ran across a piece on his show the other night that was funny...and SCARY! He was talking to the President of the U.S. Muslim League (or something) and asked, "As an Infidel, and in light of what is going on with the Pope, can I talk about THIS without getting assassinated, beheaded, or otherwise killed?" He then went down a whole list of topics of discussion/comments, like 'The message of the Islamic Extremists today are contradictory to the teachings in the Qur'an and are, therefore, wrong."

The 'Pres.' said you and the Pope can talk about anything you want to ...but in the end he said it would be better for us 'Infidels' to avoid talking publicly about faith, Muslims, Islamic Extremism, etc - just about anything that might offend them and make them decide to behead/kill you! So, we can only accept their religeon, only be converted to Muslim, only talk about what THEY believe is the truth, etc or we are fair game to kill around the world!? NUNs are being killed around the world - anyone speaking out or in any way connected to anyone who speaks out - are being murdered! :shock: :roll:
