I've never thought of Business Insider as being a 'pro-Hillary' outlet, but who knows any more

It looks like Russia hired internet trolls to pose as pro-Trump Americans

Russia's troll factories were, at one point, likely being paid by the Kremlin to spread pro-Trump propaganda on social media. That is what freelance journalist Adrian Chen, now a staff writer at The New Yorker, discovered as he was researching Russia's "army of well-paid trolls" for an explosive New York Times Magazine exposé published in June 2015.
(. . .)
"I created this list of Russian trolls when I was researching. And I check on it once in a while, still. And a lot of them have turned into conservative accounts, like fake conservatives. I don't know what's going on, but they're all tweeting about Donald Trump and stuff," he said.

why would you post an article only to dismiss it as some kind of propaganda? do you work for the kremlin?

Business Insider is hardly a credible source after it said that Steven Hawlkings was only alive because he was an American and had US healthcare... he is English and is only alive because of the NHS and universal healthcare.. but hey!

I'd simply say I'm glad to see some of our friends here on DP gainfully employed.

Can you imagine if Obama was as close to Putin/Russia as Trump is? Instead of a closet Muslim the ODS people would be calling him a closet Commie.

My God there would be calls for putting Obama on trial for treason every single day from the same people who have no problem with Trump being cozy with Putin.

It is certainly easy to see a number of advantages the Kremlin could gain from the various aspects of supporting Trump or BS. And I had actually noticed trolling consistent with what the article mentions. This was not restricted to the US. I also saw similar activities on German and British Internet platforms.

There are no such calls at present, as the harm Obama has done is being put down to his initially total lack of experience, his continuing incompetence and a nawing ambition tainted by populist ideology.

Yes, as every American knows, all the world's problems are the fault of the Russians. Hillary and McCain said so. :doh

So tell us about Trump's experience in government and with foreign policy?

Don't bother. We all know he has none. Funny how you Republicans whined about Obama's lack of experience, and called him a thinned skinned narcissist for 8 years. But now the Republican nominee is 100 times more thin skinned, narcissistic and has NO government experience.

If it wasn't so sad and Trump wasn't so dangerous it would be funny.

You'd think Vlad would have been grateful Hill & Bill greased the Rosatom Uranium skids for his takeover right here in the USA, but noooooooo.

Then again how are we to know the over the top Trump supporters Vlad established are not there to say crazy things to drive away support from Trump to Hill in gratitude for what the Clinton's have done for him and his oligarchs.

After all, Bill & Hill have done a great job making contacts all over the world doing all that wacky one-hand-washes-the-other stuff that endears them so.

One of the Kremlin's troll factories is located at 55 Savushkina Street, St Petersburg, and operates 24/7

Now Now.
He's not 100 times more narcissistic, he's just not as slick as Obama about it.
And he doesn't have a media cadre to respond for him like Obama does.
Trump certainly doesn't have the government experience. That's undeniably true.
But you say that like it's a bad thing.

Good morning, bubba. :2wave:

:agree: I guess I'll have to make it a full-time quest to find that farmer in South Dakota who would make an excellent POTUS - he's sure not helping by hiding and minding his own business, though! Perhaps an honest, plain-speaking, salt of the earth type man just isn't interested in being POTUS? Whoda thunk? :lamo

I really like the wholly inappropriate arched dog house and atrium they tacked on the side of what appears to be an old, Soviet era building. Cute. I have to note that Trump would probably do better in the architecture department, at least.

Weird how for 8 years the ODS people pointed to Obama's lack of government experience as being terrible and a big reason why everything that Obama has done as being bad. Hell they even blamed him for things like the 2008 crash that happened before he was even Prez.. lol

But now with Trump's lack of government experience, that's not necessarily bad? Funny how that works out.

I'm surprised the forum hasn't been bombarded with liberal operatives.

So then you agree.

How exactly is Trump "close to Putin/Russia"?

Wait, I thought populism was part of Trump's appeal. Is this a case of it being different again?

How exactly is Trump "close to Putin/Russia"?

He has openly talked about his admiration for Putin, and that he is open to legitimizing Russian control of Crimea.

Do you not pay attention to what he actually says?

Trump hasn't thrown up the worst GDP performance hostory, but Obama has.

A candidate discussing policy is not synonymous with "being close to Putin/Russia.

And no, I don't pay too much attention to what either candidate says since I'm not a supporter. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say whatever he said was misrepresented by the lib press. ;)

I have always said Obama could not run a lemonade stand, let alone the country. Everything he touches is a complete failure.
