"After surviving domestic violence in a previous relationship, I acted out of caution after a disagreement with Kilmar by seeking a civil protective order in case things escalated," she said. "Things did not escalate, and I decided not to follow through with the civil court process. We were able to work through this situation privately as a family, including by going to counseling.
Then explain why she said that things did not escalate.she told the police that he beat her and tore her clothes off and let marks on her body
btw, she divorced him
noThen explain why she said that things did not escalate.
People who have previous trauma can often act out in the heat of the moment. Done.no
you explain why she told the police that he beat her
she is lyingPeople who have previous trauma can often act out in the heat of the moment. Done.
Ball's back in your court. Explain why she said things did not escalate.
It appears she potentially lied on her initial filing.she is lying
it appears that she has recanted because of public pressure to support her ex-husbandIt appears she potentially lied on her initial filing.
Nah, if he were so awful, she could easily make a cushy living being a propaganda piece for Fox. Your explanation doesn't hold water.it appears that she has recanted because of public pressure to support her ex-husband
Exclusive: Abrego Garcia's wife responds after restraining order revealed
The restraining order was filed by Jennifer Vasquez Sura in a Maryland court in 2021, according to documents released by DHS.www.newsweek.com
It appears his wife was acting out from a trauma caused by a previous relationship.
Another MAGA lie debunked.
so r u saying that when she told the police that he beat her, she was lying?Nah, if he were so awful, she could easily make a cushy living being a propaganda piece for Fox. Your explanation doesn't hold water.
#5so r u saying that when she told the police that he beat her, she was lying?
Jennifer Vasquez Sura, the wife of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man deported to El Salvador before the U.S. Supreme Court called for him to be returned, is defending her husband and denouncing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), for what she described as an unjust act of "abduction," after the resurfacing of a 2021 restraining order against him.
Vasquez Sura gave an exclusive statement to Newsweek responding to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) release of court filings alleging domestic violence. Her statement comes after the DHS posted documents from 2021 indicating that she filed for a protective order claiming her husband punched and scratched her, ripped her shirt and left her bruised. The temporary restraining order barred him from contacting her and directed him not to harass or abuse her, according to the court filings.
And if they are, and I am not saying I believe they are, but if they are, you can bet your bippy it will be just fine with a certain demographic. Less of "those" people to worry about.I don’t care if he beat her.
The man was entitled to due process.
I say “was” because I believe he’s dead.
I believe many of the prisoners we have sent there are dead.
I think that’s the point of sending them there.
I know lots of people who are divorced, last I checked that was NOT a federal crime. And a lot of divorces end NOT because of domestic abuse but other reasons. But you know how it will go with some on the Right................... Jennifer is NOW lying and backpeddling. THAT GUY with the tattoos looks like an abuser so he must be an abuser.Just curious, where is this "divorce" and "ex-husband" thing coming from?
WW
You have no basis for that.it appears that she has recanted because of public pressure to support her ex-husband
100% this. We have other examples of people being erroneously deported to CECOT as well.See this is what the bumper sticker, ends justify the means crowd dosen't get. It's about the Constitution and the right of all person in this country (with no qualifiers) to have Due Process. To be able to stand in a court of law and the government be required to present evidence in the light of day and for a persons ability to challenge that evidence in an fair and impartial setting. Because when the ends justify the means today for one group, then the Constitution has no meaning and the polticial elite (at that time) can be despots doing as they will as no one will stop them because they have no respect for the law.
It's not about Abrego Garcia. As I've posted many times. Bring him back, give him his due right in a habeas corpus hearing to see the evidence, challenge the evidence - and then have a judge decide. If they can pick him up off the streets and transport him out of the country to a human storage facility today, they will be able to do the same to you tomorrow.
If he is a criminal? DON'T deport him. Charge him, have a trail, convict him, send him to prision, and after his sentence is done - deport him.
If he is not a criminal? Deport him under the laws established by Congress (here we are talking about 8 USC 1231) which the Constitution REQUIRES the Executive Branach to faithfully execute.
Those of you that want to wipe your ass today with the Constitution are not patriots, not "true American's". What you are those that want to return to the Kings Law, where the law was used to control the people. Instead what we've had for 250 years which is the People Law where the law was supposed to protect people from despots, tyrants, and kings.
