Why would now be more dangerous to get vaccinated than previously? Have you developed any health issues that would increase the risk of a vaccination?
Determine for yourself what you want to do, definitely consult with your doctor before making a final decision.
He thought he was being clever.
I guess that's what you thought you were doing.Or am I pointing out the absurdity of the exact justification given for the mandate?
Wondering if there is a flaw in my reasoning.
Like I said, nice to have you back.Yes, we do that. Did/do so for the flu too. It is important to us that there are always people who have already had whatever it going around so there is always someone who isn't sick to take care of the children and at-risk people such as elderly on chemo, had a transplant or other high risk danger. Being vaccinated doesn't prevent a person from getting covid-19. It just means it is more likely they don't know they have it and are contagious. So yes, among us health people, we schedule exposing ourselves to generally not lethal bugs going around town. Done so long, long before covid-19.
Curiously this does seem to have given us stronger immune systems overall. For covid-19, it did put a few of us in bed for a little while (and quarantined from all but those who already had it), but no one has died nor been hospitalized. Generally we expose ourselves by kissing, which we do a lot of anyway. If someone has something I want to get behind me - something we collectively sort of plan out - I'll ask someone I know who has it (if relationship appropriate) for their consent to kiss that person, the other knowing why. I'm talking going full French. Even held a couple spin the bottle kissing parties for this, booze and pot for those so inclined.
None of us have died. None hospitalized. We didn't become reclusive. Our elderly were/are surrounded with people in their remaining out of public, rather than put into solitary confinement as the experts demand. I can't even comprehend giving up kissing or abandoning the elderly.
I'm rather consistent to the conclusions and positions that I've taken after much thought and consideration.I'm asking if anyone of you think what the President and non-censored experts said about the vaccinated are at risk from the unvaccinated.
The pandemic phase of COVID is over, if not this instant, very soon.
Experts are considering it to moving from the pandemic phase to the endemic phase.
You’ve probably heard it by now: Covid-19 is not going away. The broad consensus among experts is that it’s not realistic to think we’re going to totally eradicate this virus. We will, however, see it move out of the pandemic phase and into the endemic phase. That means the virus will keep circulating in parts of the global population for years, but its prevalence and impact will come down to relatively manageable levels, so it becomes more like the flu than a world-stopping disease. How you’ll know when Covid-19 has gone from “pandemic” to “endemic”
It’s more subjective than you might think.www.vox.com

Q: Many experts have said they expect COVID-19 to become an endemic disease. How does a disease go from being acute to endemic? What factors shape the transition to endemicity? What’s a likely timeline for COVID-19 to become endemic?A: The expectation that COVID-19 will become endemic essentially means that the pandemic will not end with the virus disappearing; instead, the optimistic view is that enough people will gain immune protection from vaccination and from natural infection such that there will be less transmission and much less COVID-19-related hospitalization and death, even as the virus continues to circulate. What will it be like when COVID-19 becomes endemic? | Harvard T.H. In a Q&A, Yonatan Grad, Melvin J. and Geraldine L. Glimcher Associate Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, discusses what endemic COVID-19 will look like.www.hsph.harvard.edu

Everyone will meet with the virus eventually, but doing so safely (while vaccinated) is keywww.medpagetoday.com
Opinion | Covid Will Soon Be Endemic, Thank Goodness
Widespread immunity, vaccinated and natural, will bring control and a full return to normal.www.wsj.com
Add to this, that every Saturday and Sunday, and a number of evenings during the week, large number of people are gathering in sports venues, without a super spreader COVID surge following.
Add to this that majority of people are back to their normal routines, wearing masks only when specifically required.
The pandemic is over, or very soon will be. The government's expanded powers, justified by the pandemic, will need to be rescinded.
The last guy I heard pea cocking like this is dead. Good luck.Based upon the experts and reciting them, the President went on national TV to explain the extreme risk the unvaccinated poise to the vaccinated. It certainly has been declared a million times that anyone who doesn't listen to this expertise is an idiot.
Almost everyone I know is unvaccinated. Nearly without exception. So obviously if I got vaccinated I would immediately become at extreme risk from nearly everyone around me. Clearly, it now is far, far too dangerous for any of us to get vaccinated for the extreme risk we then would face from the unvaccinated that surround us and we are in constant contact with, even touching, hugging and kissing. While that makes no sense to me, nothing about covid-19 claims has and that's what the experts all said. It so much a certain fact and critical that the President went on TV explaining this severe danger to vaccinated people from unvaccinated people, rather than the other way around as I would think it would be. I certainly don't want to be a flat earther science denier questioning the experts.

Vaccinated people are what will cause vaccine resistant variants to evolve.
Vaccinated people develop less symptoms when they are infected with existing strains, so they are less likely to know they have COVID and quarantine.
The vaccinated may be the greatest menace to our health currently in this country. At least until January when people start freezing to death due to high home heating prices.
I hope you stretched really well before doing all those contortions.Vaccinated people are what will cause vaccine resistant variants to evolve. Vaccine resistant variants have no need to evolve among the unvaccinated.
Vaccinated people develop less symptoms when they are infected with existing strains, so they are less likely to know they have COVID and quarantine. They will become one-person super-spreaders.

Yes and this is obvious. Asymptomatic contagious people are going about spreads it and is a body for covid-19 to evolve to more harmful strains.Vaccinated people are what will cause vaccine resistant variants to evolve. Vaccine resistant variants have no need to evolve among the unvaccinated.

A fair enough opinion.I'm rather consistent to the conclusions and positions that I've taken after much thought and consideration.
- If you are vaccinated, you are good to go.
The vaccine will protect you, and if you do contract COVID, it'll lessen the symptoms and complications significantly reducing any risk to your life- If you've had COVID and have recovered, you are good to go.
Your natural immunity will protect you, and if you do contract COVID, it'll lessen the symptoms and complications significantly reducing any risk to your life- If you are unvaccinated you have had more than sufficient opportunity to be vaccinated, so you've done your risk evaluation and have made your decision. The potential medical risks of contracting COVID are yours to bear by the decision you've made

Their body, their choice, but I don't think the vaccinated should be allowed the normal social privileges like eating out with friends, shopping, and working with others. Let them order Uber eats and have the driver leave the food on the porch for them.Yes and this is obvious. Yes, I fell for the Fauci and Wallensky "All is well, if you are vaccinated!" show.Didn't you claim you were vaccinated?
Yes, I fell for the Fauci and Wallensky "All is well, if you are vaccinated!" show.
I'm willing to accept those restrictions I proposed for the vaccinated as long as they apply to all of us. No "honor system" since most fanatical vaxxers are from the left.

Thank you antivaxxers....
Vaccinated people very rarely will get sick from COVID. If they have it and give it to someone who is unvaccinated, tough shit.OK, explain your opinion of why it is good to have asymptomatic contagious people out and about.
