Friday night Donald Trump took to his favorite social media platform to lambast Hillary Clinton and the Democrats for gearing the debate schedule in her favor. In Trump’s usual diatribe of minced words, and accusations he proceeded to let loose on a Twitter rant. But in this case one tweet seemed to be enough, at least for now. Trump seems to think that primetime scheduling of the debates would put him at a disadvantage. Two of the debates go head to head with an NFL game.

Just one problem: The debate schedule for this year was set by both parties in September 2015, long before there were even primaries.

If Trump is using this as a flimsy excuse to ditch the debates, he will not only lose, but the election will be Nixon-McGovern in reverse.

Let's see what happens.

Why, yes. The man is a pathological liar, and the NFL has just confirmed that.

NFL Says Donald Trump Is Full Of Shit; League Never Sent Him Letter About Debate Schedule

"Donald Trump’s efforts to weasel out of debating Hillary Clinton have hit a peak, as the GOP presidential nominee has repeatedly blamed his opponent for the scheduled debates that were approved by the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates nearly a year ago. That lie apparently not being bold enough, Trump has now claimed the NFL wrote him a letter complaining that two of the debates are scheduled against pro football games

CNN’s Brian Stelter followed up with the NFL, and asked the league if it really did send a letter. The NFL told him that Trump is full of ****"

Maybe he can schedule a charity fundraiser for Muslim veterans instead. ;)

he'll show up.

You honestly think Trump is afraid to debate?

After all of his prior successes, and facing Hillary alone this time, that he would have a problem with it?

Methinks you protest too much. :coffeepap:

Ditch the debates??? His concern is that fewer people will see the debate than if it were on another night. He wants as many people to see the debate as possible.

Trump won't ditch. He just wants to make sure the most people see him beat the snot out of Hildabeast.

That is it right there scheduling a debate on Monday night right in the same time.
That is a smile play to keep people from watching Clinton actually have to face him.

He will stream roll her like he has done others in the debate.

Well, if he doesn't debate, she doesn't either. Change the dates.

Why else would he lie outright about the NFL sending him a letter about conflicting dates?

I've been thinking that Trump was not going to show up at the debate since last Christmas. Then it was reaffirmed when he did that scheme during the primary. It's a regular pattern.

Our choice in the upcoming election is: (1) living under martial law, which Trump will delegate to Pense to oversee --- (2)the government is gonna put a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage...with no way to pay for it and the national debt goes up to about 10 trillion.

It'll be damn interesting either way it goes. Either way something(s) is gonna break more than things already are.

Your source is Twitter? What does Facebook have to say?:lamo

You dont think Trump WANTS to debate Coughey McCougherson?

Doesn't change what you said about an NFL spokesman saying Trump is full of ****. This source says 0 about that. Don't let your Twitter source change reality.

No, I never stated that. I clearly put it quotes as a citiation from someone else.

That's pretty much Basic Post Comprehension 101.

You get an F.

You do not grade anyone here. You just think you do.

Sorry about your F and that you embarrassed yourself. Yet again.

Nice try, as I said before your opinion of others is irrelevant. Twitter.:lamo

Can he maintain his cool for 2 hrs, without coming out with something that is off the wall?

Yeah he can be a loose cannon, but it has served him so far.
Although I hope he is prepared for the debates.

It is still a tie so far. Rip average is .04 in clintons favor which is meaningless.
It also means that the whole dnc was a fail and a huge victory for trump.

We will see so far he has beat his other debate people into submission.
