He is not a racist and he is not a bigot.

These claims are nothing more that the outrageous attacks from the Mainstream Media, their talking potato heads, the GOP and Democratic Elites...and, of course, their useful idiots who repeat all the BS they hear from the former.

You see, that "Russia thing"...it's a bust. All the other things the Trump haters have come up with...it's a bust. But they keep attacking Trump...and they'll KEEP attacking him. They'll keep making **** up to attack him. They'll keep spinning **** to attack him.

But no...Trump is not a racist and he's not a bigot.
 
Trump Is Right, he is almost the only one willing to speak truth which violates the precepts of Victim Culture, which means that yet again PATRIOT TRUMP showed up to play.

I have spoken on this at length over the last 24 hours, so that is all I leave here.

There's a ton of layers to this. Is Trump explicitly racist or bigoted? Some may say yes. Could Trump just be implicitly racist or bigoted? Maybe. Is Trump himself racist/bigoted--explicitly or implicitly--or is it simply his policies that are? Does Trump actually believe what he says? Or is he just trying to pander to his base? Who knows?

One thing you can say for sure: a lot of his rhetoric is borrowed from the David Dukes and Richard Spencers of the world, which is troubling. His rhetoric has also emboldened white supremacist groups and given them legitimacy (especially when he fails to condemn them as strongly as he condemns just about anybody or anything else).

I didn't used to think so, but after the events of the last several days, I think it is clear that Trump is at least on some level racist and bigoted as well as always pandering to his base. Is he the kind of white hooded Klan racist? No....but nevertheless, this is a man who sees no distinction between Robert E. Lee and George Washington....a man who cannot denounce racism without qualifiers. There is absolutely at least an element of racism and bigotry in him.
 


The "Russia thing is a bust"??? New stuff comes out daily...on what basis are you claiming its a bust? Doh! This is a man who equates people who oppose racism as being "equally as bad" as those seeking to advance racism. Sadly for you and your lot....more and more people are beginning to see this in Trump every day which is why his numbers are in rapid decline.

He hasn't shown any action or characteristic that meets the definitions of the two terms.
 

The Russia witch hunt has been going on for more than a year with no evidence. It's a bust.

People who oppose racism with the use of violence are equally as bad as people who seek to advance racism with the use of violence. The event last weekend was all about violence. That is exactly what Trump said and he is absolutely correct.

Actually, in his very first statement he condemned the hatred and violence from both sides. Do you think that wasn't enough? Perhaps you agree with the Trump haters that he should have singled out the side THEY don't like and he should have given the other side...the side that actually initiated the violence...a pass. Myself, I'm satisfied with Trump calling for ALL sides to stop their hatred and violence.

Your manner of conversing is strange. I'm not sure I understand the other stuff you are saying...this "page" thing, etc. However, I responded to your previous question...you pretty much ignore my response...and then say I've "lost" or something. Seems to me you are living in your own reality.

You know...perhaps you should start "following" things if you expect to be taken seriously when you comment around here.

In any case, you've only said that my explanation of my opinion is stupid...but you don't say why. You don't rebut my explanation. Frankly, I don't really see any upside in even talking to you if this is how you discuss things. But...I'm a fair-minded guy. Tell me why my explanation of my opinion is stupid...heck, tell me why you disagree with my opinion. If you make a good, reasoned argument then we might have something to discuss. On the other hand, if you just want to claim some kind of "victory"...without any reasoned argument...then you are a waste of time and space.

I apologize. I posted the link with the time marker set to start at about the 35 minute mark. It doesn't seem to work right. Go to that mark and you'll quickly hear Trumps statements.

ah.....not really. Its been going on for a few months and practically a day doesn't go by when new stuff isn't uncovered. With Mueller convening a grand jury and now subpoenaing documents Trump is beginning to feel the heat. He is threatening Mueller not to look into his real estate transactions...hmmmm.....wonder why. Trump is going down...its just a matter of time, that is, if he doesn't implode beforehand.
 
Is he? How can you know what is in a man's heart. What I took away from what he had to say was the white supremiscists were there marching in protest of a statue being taken down. That they were there legally having obtained the proper permits! Now you must ask yourself does the right to assembly and the right to free speech only apply to people you like? Are you ready to abandon those rights? Secondly you must ask yourself if the protestors who came armed with clubs and flame throwers have a right to physically attack white supremacists? This country is degrading rapidly. Me? I don't like white supremacists. I also don't like racism in any form from any side. So, I see Trump's point that both sides were the problem.
 
People do seem to be taking comfort in knowing that while they clearly share many alt-right views and support Trump, they don't have to wear the mantle of a white nationalist in doing so.

Bigot? Unequivocally yes. He is intolerant of President Obama, Hillary Clinton, liberals, democrats, the "deep state", the "media"; of seemingly anything that might disagree with him.

Racist? I don't think so. I think he uses racism as a tool for personal power, but he cares more about personal power than actual race issues.
